I have researched buying a road bike for some time and given my requirements was looking for a Specialized Roubaix Expert. I attended the store and was advised by Paul to go a different route once I had explained exactly what my reasoning had been. He advised I buy a Tarmac which I did and I have to say having ridden the bike that I am thoroughly delighted with the product and it represents a perfect fit for my needs. SO the product is great but you can see that in any magazine. What makes... (read more)

I always go to service my expensive bikes there although I live in Ealing and there are at least 4 bike shops (including Evans) nearer. The competence they have is unrivaled. Their knowledge of the market is incredible and they are extremely honest. You can also bring your spare parts that you can buy cheaper elsewhere and they fit them. Where else? I have tried many high-tech mechanics but none can match the expertise of this place. They are all good but - if I may - Mark is super. Only... (read more)

I'd just like to let you know that I've visited your store in ruislip and received exceptional service. I explained my situation and the gentleman who served me was very kind and explained all the options. I often find it daunting entering specialist shops that I don't know too much about, but the friendly attitude that your staff have put me at ease right away. (read more)

I went into Specialized Ruislip intending to spend up to £1500 on a bike and accessories. I had been in earlier in the week to browse and was ready to buy, however, I found the sales staff patronising and unhelpful. The member of staff I spoke to clearly wanted to be doing something else rather than help me with my purchase. At one point I asked to test ride the bike I was considering buying but was told to come back in a couple of hours as they needed to check over the bike to make sure... (read more)

I happily travelled from North Finchley to this store despite having 4 cycle shops on my doorstep after an informative telephone conversation with customer service. The level of service & depth of knowledge amongst the staff is second to none along with their no pressure sales approach and staff are more than willing to demonstrate basic repair techniques; I now know how to replace my tube and tyre should the occasion arise! Definitely worth consideration & or a visit for all your biking... (read more)

I happily travelled from North Finchley to this store despite having 4 cycle shops on my doorstep after an informative telephone conversation with customer service. I bought the Specialized Myka HT and am more than happy with bike but after seeing a 29er DISPLAYED in-store and getting the full low down re;specs, I'm already saving up to add to my collection! The level of service & depth of knowledge amongst the staff is second to none along with their no pressure sales approach, well worth... (read more)

I have visited the shop many times throughout 2010, having completed a BG fit at the store on my road bike. The level of knowledge was far superior to any store i have been since some of my long term niggles have been not only resolved but explained too. The store did a great job so i returned to buy a mountain bike this year and was similarly impressed.

Have visted this store many times, purchasing only occasionally due to analysis paralysis on my part. Just bought my son a bike and the experience was excellent. They talked me out of buying the bike I wished and recommended coming back in a few months to go for a larger bike instead. Very impressed by this attitude (& bought the bigger bike later)
The staff have even took pity on my wife, giving her a cuppa, whilst imparting their knowledge.....my dream bike was non-specialised so bought...

Have been buying bikes here for a few years now, since before it became a specialized concept store. Have always found the folks here to be really helpful, and knowledgeable. Have had several services / repairs carried out on my mountain / road bikes and have always been pleased with the work. Now a Brompton dealer too. (read more)

I only took up cycling about nine months ago but have become a regular, dedicated visitor and client of the Ruislip Specialized Store. I've come to value the Specialized brand, the quality of bikes and accessories being, in my opinion, exceptional. I also think the shop itself is well laid out, making the experience of visiting an exciting and enjoyable event (as indeed it should be) and certainly the Specialized brand and Ruislip Concept Store have, to-date, enhanced positively my cycling... What a great shop.
In these days of poor service and lacklustre knowledge it was a pleasure to spend time with like minded and very helpful staff. No amount of time was too much for them and I was able to buy all of the accessories I needed in one visit. None of this "Oh we can order that in for you sir"
No bike is a distress purchase and therefore it is great to deal with poeple who know far more that I ever will about my hobby.
Well worth a day out to visit a true specialist, or should...

Ive also have been a customer since Action Bikes which is now the Concept Store in Ruilip.
I have bought about seven bikes from them and have always recieved very good advise and very good, friendly service.
The new shop is very well layed out and stocked well.
The staff in the shop are all keen cyclists and this is very apparent from the advise and repair service that they supply.
I would recomend the shop to anyone.

Have been using the shop since it was Action Bikes and as a concept shop it is brilliant. The staff are very friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to help me and my friends.
Although it gets busy, often by waiting for service you know you are going to get their full attention! Prices are generally RRP - however there are good sales, and annual offers with new bikes. Bought my first full suspension bike (FSR PRO) there and very pleased with the ongoing support (servicing /...

Being a concept store, whilst the prices are pretty much fixed at RRP, unless there's a sale on, where else are you going to get to road test a Specialized Roubaix Pro in 3 sizes before you buy it? Store has access to special reserved stock too, so you can go there to get hard to find bits. They had a Specialized Shiv in the window last time I visited!
Being an official store, they also get word of sale items before other stores do. Got my girfriend a last years Ruby S-Works for less than I...

Went into the shop to purchase my first road bike on Wednesday. I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff and the advice given to me. I was sized for my bike allowed to test out the bike in a turbo trainer to it ensure I felt happy and comfortable with the positioning of the bike.
The after sales service today was also top notch, I was set up on the bike shown all the information I needed and given the peace of mind that I can call back in if I have any questions. Plus the 6 week tune...

I went to Specialized Concept store Ruislip to by a road bike that I could use for my commute to work. The shop was very nice, new interior and well laid out. I didn't really know what would be the best bike to get but the staff were very helpful and clearly talked me through my options and let me ride a couple to see what suited me.
Once I had picked the bike I wanted it was built for me and the staff that dealt with me explained different things about it. They were then very good when I...

Recently purchased a Specialized road bike from the store. Store itself is nice enough. Prices are fixed at RRP which is pretty standard across similar bike shops.
However where the store really falls down is it's staff. All very rude an patronising. I have spoken to 4 different staff members on various visits and found each to be extremely rude. I spoke with the store manager on my last visit who was the worst of the lot.
All I was trying to do was get a problem with my bike fixed. Staff...
