“Complete rip off company”

Used PM a few years ago for the first time and it went OK then used them recently and, my god their attitude and service was utterly terrible to say the least. To sum it up in the hope that they never get the chance to rip anyone off again, they messed up, lied then decided in my favour to cancel the transaction and were going to refund me. This was my first booking using Parcel Monkey. The job was accepted and paid for, delivery labels emailed. Then after a little while another email to say the courier was no longer available. I made a big mistake of paying £12 to parcel monkey to courier a letter. They did not pick up on day, despite my warning their "customer services". I had to take the letter to DHL depot the next day for sending (at £7), which cost me time and expense. They do not have a telephone line (to avoid dealing with lots of unhappy customers!). No show, then a nod reply to my problem including info about basically being a price comparison website. But you arranged the deal and took the money didn't you and then only sent e-mails confirming what should have been happening but not any contact has been made today to pick up the parcel nor state why not. I have been working with logistics businesses for close to 20 years, and have dealt with over 10,000 parcel pick ups and delivers. I can honestly say trying to get a pick up by Parcel Monkey is the worst logistical experience I have ever had. I have seen late couriers, early couriers, arrival at the wrong address and many more similar scenarios. However, I never had a courier just not turn without at least contacting me to say why! “Waste of Time”

Tried several times today to get an answer to my problem which was their mistake - sent me the wrong label with no barcode last night -resulting in the post office refusing to take my parcel today for uplift by Parcelforce. Eventually went direct to Parcelforce who managed to solve it and printed a correct label for me although I had to drive 20 miles to make this happen. Even through they agreed that there was nothing wrong with the labelling of a parcel they refused to either give or help to obtain a refund. Parcel Monkey just couldn't arrange a simple collection of a parcel - TWICE! Wasted 2 whole days with them and was worried that I would not fulfil my customer's order; in the end I had to make alternative arrangements to fulfil a customer's order. There isn't even a phone number provided to speak to a team member - not very reassuring I must say. Booked a parcel delivery to Italy to send in non remote area using exact measurements, weight and value of parcel, after parcel was delivered they charged me extra and took it out of my credit card without my consent. “Awful, sneaky company”

I was excited to use parcel monkey. They picked my item up in a timely fashion and were suportive when it was late. Or so I thought. My parcel arrived damaged and late and when I complained, they kept taking ages to get back to me. They needed all sorts of proof (which is fair) but it as my parcel was in Norway it took me a day or so to get it back. They then said I had taken too long on my claim. However, this isn't true. I sent five parcels costing £80 each three were badly damaged by CITY-LINK courier service two parcels had the fragile tape removed so the damage must of been inspected via the courier service then they retaped the boxes and even after damaging the goods they still posted them on! i was given three days to make a claim and then was informed i could not claim as i had not posted the proof of purchase on there web site after a further two days i had to rebook all items back another £80 loss… Read Full Review
