Sent two parcels early May to France via parcel monkey and both are lost, i have opened a case by using their contact form as they dont have a tel service which is appalling , not only that they have debited additional charges from my debit card which was stored on their database also to top it up they are claiming that one of my parcels was overweight by 12kg which is total utter rubbish as on their own consignment document my parcels declared weight is 4 kg and the actual weight is 3.7kg... I know. You pay peanuts and you get.... I didn't expect them to be this bad. I booked 24 hour overnight delivery of an item I sold on ebay. I had paid extra insurance to cover the item up to £100. PM sub-contracted it out to DHL, who promptly dropped and smashed the item. On trying to claim from PM they refused, saying it couldn't have been properly packaged. Poorly run - they will loose, fail to deliver, or brake your parcel. You will have endless problems with this company. They have no phone service. The email service is badly run and unsatisfactory. I used Parcelmonkey to send 3 dinner plates to Australia. I put the correct dimension of the box and the weight of 3kg ( it was only 2.5kg). I then had my debit card charged for an extra £15.50!!! as they said they had weighed the parcel and it was not 3kg it was 10kg!!!! That is not true, in fact it weighed less than I paid for. We spend an awful lot with Parcel Monkey after moving from an equally rubbish company Parcel 2 Go...our City Link driver advised us to try them...now for the 4th time they have not collected from a client although we booked the collection a week in advance..... and no response....we also had them deliver to the wrong address 69 instead of 67 and go back and pick the parcel up and send it back to us to re-book and pay again instead of popping it next door!!! Both times the parcels were collected 4 days later than they should have been (some parcels have still not been collected) No telephone support - jsu thave to fill in an onine form - no idea how long it would take to get a reply. I recently used parcelmonkey to ship a "hard type" suitcase to Singapore from the UK. I paid extra for insurance as it seemed like a good option. As promised the suitcase was collected from the UK and arrived with me in Singapore 3 days later. I have had a few parcels that have not been able to be delivered. The courier will ring parcel monkey who then call me 4-5 hours later asking for more details. By the time they get back to the courier they have left and probably gone home. The next days this cycle starts all over again. I once had a parcel in the loop for a month. Easy to put in item types and get a quote. Very cheap compared with other courier sites. Parcels collected and delivered on time and as requested via City-Link. Items scheduled to be collected next working day. As an ebay buyer I needed to have some suitcases collected from the seller and this was the most cost effective and easy way for me to do it. I have sent a few parcels successfully with these people, though often collected late as they hadn't passed on information to courier company in time. Ordered collection of £400 composter (with insurance) for 12/11 It wasn't collected till 13/11 and then despite regular chasing the parcel floated around at Citylink for 10 days, apparently damaged. parcel monkey use to be very good , now its teamed up with others its rubbish, out of 5 parcels to pick up they have got wrong, i have waited in all day and nothing yet again.
they had told me the same that city-link delivered the parcel and that when they spoke to the driver they said they didn't even collect, until i sent them copy's of the CCTV of them picking it up, then they said oh yes it was collected and delivered, they gave me £3 compensation , not worth all the hassle.

I had problems with these lot of monkeys, never collected yet took the money never gave it back. Tried to contact them no phone numbers their site tells us they are installing a special telephone system, it must be so special no other company knows of it, what does it cost to put telephones into your business, these are a bunch of monkeys out to rob people.
