I did read the reviews on here, but was also recommended to Simply Plates by a friend that had some custom Show Plates made. Despite the reviews my plates were of a good quality. The service was great, informative, l=they let me know the tracking details when the goods were sent. Although 2-3 days delivery, I was n't in any hurry for them anyway! I don't see any issues with giving these guys 5 well earned stars. The bad ratings I would only consider to be one off's, or competitors trying... (read more)

The rear plates started to bubble under the lettering after only a few months.They promised to send a replacement but this never arrived despite repeated emails which they ignored.From other similar comments in the reviews it seems this is a common problem.I had hoped that new plates would improve the appearance of my car,but these actually spoil it. ordered plates with badge that I wanted.They plates arrived without the badge.Sent plates back with picture of the badge I wanted. They said we don,t always check our emails right away .Thinking it was my fault for not sending the email correctly .I ordered another set of plates at my cost .They emailed me saying they could use the badge I sent would this alternative do as they were ready to print the plates .I Emailed back for them to print the plates and use the badge .The plates arrived... I used this firm before and had no problems, the service is excellent. The plates now though seem very cheaply made and after only a few months the black letters have distorted. There is a bubbling going on under every letter/number. They look dreadfull and will need replacing very soon. Seven months is not a reasonable life span for a plate. (read more)

I ordered a plate with some special details of nationality badges and a car marque badge. The completed plate was sent very quickly and was just as it looked on the website. The gloss finish is a little fragile so be careful not to scratch it when fitting and subsequently washing. I would use Simply Plates again. Good value, good product, fast delivery. (read more)

Just needed a trailer plate and found simply plates using a google search. Ordered, and paid for a plain rear plate, and they sent me a pair! This means I've got a spare front plate for free. Can't complain. Quality looks good, delivery was quick and packaging was good (custom number plate-sized jiffy bag - fits through the letterbox). I will use them again next time I need plates. Not what I asked for. Sent them an email which was not replied to. I then sent the plates back with a letter asking for new ones or a refund. Plates were tried to be delivered numerous times and then left at a post office to collect and they never were so they were sent back to me. Plates arrives quickly but were not even the same white and yellow that"normal road legal plates are. On sending the company photos with a comparison they would not give a refund. They state that they are not. road legal and therefore they are fine. So if you want bad looking plates unequally spaced letters on a badly coloured beige yellow background with poor after sales service go with this company. (read more)

March 2012 - ordered a plate, arrive promptly, but it was incorrect, a union jack logo was vertical not horizonta! but the worst part was the logo was printed onto a sheet of PAPER, which was then laminated into the plate, and would fade to nothing in no time. Simply Plates have a statement on their site saying they use the same supplier as "no1showplates" (a company that was excellent but who stopped trading) this may be correct but their printing equipemnt is obviously nothing like what... I ordered my plates on Thurs around 12:20pm. I needed these for the weekend, so I opted to pay the additional £5.99 for the 1st class special courier next day delivery BEFORE 1pm. When it didn't arrive, I quickly realised there was no way to chase this up. Simply Plates only provide an email address with a 24 hr turnaround. No telephone number for queries. You should let them know. As soon as I let them know they were kind enough to send me replacements out the Next Day. I thought the service was great and the desire to get it right was definitly there.
