“Up to 100% more light.”

I have these fitted in a Mondeo TDCi Mk4. The light output is a considerable improvement on the OEM lamps. It is important with all makes of uprated bulbs to remember they claim "up to 100%" more light. They will provide more of an improvment in some cars over others depending on the OEM lamps being replaced and shape/design of the headlight unit. It is also worth remembering that due to the finer filament and different gasses in the lamp envelope they often don't last as long as basic... (read more)

Xenonmax are Not good, the ultra power bulbs 5000k are much better, well is you want a really improvement go with HID kit, I just have one of it in my wive car and she always tell me how good it is and now she doen't feel so tired at night, sorry for my english lads. I hope it can hellp some one. (read more)

“Little difference and lasted less than 1 year”

Found little difference in performance and really upset when 1 bulb went after about 11 months and another after 12 months.......not getting another pair in a hurry ! (read more)

03/11/2011. Just fitted these to my new Mitsubishi Colt CZ2 AMT. Brighter, lighter and whiter no doubt about it. A great improvement on the OEM halogen headlamps make night driving just that bit easier and dirt cheap at under £15/pair. Highly Recommended. (read more)

“Very poor light from these bulbs considering the...”

Very poor light from these bulbs considering the claimed '100%' more light.
On high beam they light up the road in patches instead of a fluid wall of light, acting more like a fog light. I have had to check they hadn't blown when they were first fitted.
Main beam through a projector lens isn't brilliant, and the standard bulbs performed equally as well. I would not buy another ring bulb after these and will use Osram again in future. (read more)

Wish I had read these reviews before buying my set on Xenon Max H7 bulbs. Like the previous reviewer, I was looking for some more performance as I live in an area with some country roads and not much lighting....I orded awaited my bulbs, and fitted them as soon as they arrived in eager anticipation of that evening where I would be experienceing up to 100% brighter, whiter light and a greater projection into the distance, as per Ring's advertising pictures and literature..

I have tried several of these upgrade bulbs in my citroen C2 over the last couple of years with the latest ones being the H4 xenon max 100% bulbs. Having tried Osram Nightbreakers, Phillips x-treme and these i can say that in my vehicle the Osram Nightbreakers seemed to make very little improvement, the Phillips extreme gave a much longer beam into the distance on main with more light than the standard bulb close up and the Ring xenon max 100% seemed to give better visibility directly in... For a while now i have been keen to change the headlight bulbs in my car,since last winter to be precise but never got around to it.So this year as the dark nights are coming very fast i thought it was time to try new lights, the only thing stopping me was the fact i have a ford focus and read that you have to remove the whole headlamp to change bulb !! but what the heck.
