    We have using BigAnt LAN messenger (http://www.bigantsoft.com) for around 2 years. The messenger allows us to communicate in a secure and effective manner, We love it because it continue adding new and useful features like remote desktop, support Terminal server and Citrix, support Active Directory/LDAP, conference chat mode, auto-reply message, message logging and archiving. Everyone here enjoy its user-friendly interface.
    It's amazing to send a folder/directory through conversation, so we do not worry about the recipient will miss or mix up when there are so many files need to be transferred.
    The vendor offer life-time free upgrade and technical support to registered users, which is a great benefit for us with tight budget.
