Having advertised a good price in a Computer Magazine they are quick to substitute for lower spec components resulting in a significantly higher price than the one your expecting to pay. They have substituted a number of components without consultation (external drives when internal ones were specified. After purchasing a Phoenix I5 for the Family it developed a fault, this was not palicomps fault as it was the hardware. Sent back for fixing, repairs happened but unfortunately the issue could not be fixed. Through the whole process NOTHING was charged to me like delivery. I eventually decided on a refund which they carried out quickly with no questions. A good experience with no unseen costs, or nasty services saying we have your money so get lost. Good stuff! I changed the M Board, Graphics Card, HDD, case, removed the monitor and added an SSD (which was upgraded) Very helpful people who got in touch to discuss my order then during the build to check my wishes when the cooler needed to be changed. All nice to you when you're placing an order tell you what you want to hear then, when they get your money it's a different story! My order was for £699.99, I get a phone call telling me I need to add "extra" features for my computer build, total price? £1,200. I actually laughed. I purchased a Carbon AMD Base Unit 3 gig 4 mg ram with windows 7 in November 2012, at the amazing price of £249. It performed flawlessly straight of the box, and continues to do so. The computer was the best system for the price I could find anywhere. The customer service were excellent they not only emailed me but phoned me, and explained everything. The delivery took 4 days (2 of those days being a weekend) which I feel is really good considering it was just after Christmas. All in all great system and really good customer service. I initially became aware of Pallicomp through a google search. I was looking for a high spec pc at a sensible price. Pallicomp allowed me to customise my order, but offered AMD chips as an alternative to Intel at a lower price.
