I recently purchased the Vax Mach Air as it was reduced from £180 to £129 to replace my existing Vax Cleaner
I have to admit that I was surprised by the weight or lack of it coupled with the power it gives.
When I opened up the box and lifted out the machine my first thoughts were that the Mach Air would struggle to lift the dog hair off our carpets the way my previous cleaner had but how wrong I was.
The Mach Air is so light and manouverable it makes cleaning easy and less of a chore.
From switching on and tilting the handle back to start the brushes the Mach Air powers through all our floor cleaning, quickly and effectively.
It deals with our thick pile floor rug on top of the laminate in the front room, to the short pile in the upstairs bedroom, and copes admirably with everything we threw at it.
The dust container is quick and easy to empty and is quick to fill compared to our old cleaner, but thats not due to its size it is due to the effectiveness of the cleaner.
The two little drawbacks of the cleaner are the way the hose attaches and it's length, it could do with being a bit longer and have a better method of use. Also the power cord could do with being a bit longer though it does just cover all of the downstairs from one plug, it fails to cover all of upstairs frome on plug.
It may sound like I'm nitpicking but thats the only faults I have found.
Stair cleaning with the Mach Air is a breeze because the unit is so light, its easy to be lifted from stair to stair.

All in all an excellent lightweight cleaner that performs much better than our previous cleaner.
Highly recomend it to anyone.

When I saw the price of the Mach Air reduced from £199 to £129 I thought I was seeing things. For those thinking that this is a Dyson wannabe (namely running after the "baby" DC24) then you'd be right, right down to the total design of its silver colouring, grids and vents here and there whilst the compactness (another attracting feature) which is extremely portable is a massive bonus for limited storage space and being much slimmer than any other upright vacuum I've ever owned infac ...

When my Mach Air first arrived, because of it's small size, I questioned it's performance ability. However, I needn't have worried. Weighing in at less than 5kg it is "The lightest full size multi-cyclonic upright in the world", it certainly was a massive weight off of my shoulders.
The Mach Air has some great features but also a couple of teething problems, which I'm sure the clever people at Vax can iron out. As mentioned before, it's very lightweight, has great powerful suction, is bagles ...

The Mach AIR U91-MA-B from VAX is a smart and sleek vacuum cleaner, looking quite stylish in the familiar VAX orange and contrasting grey. It is also very lightweight and easy to lift and manoeuvre which would make it ideal for people who have trouble with some of the heavier cleaners.

This is a Fantastic Vacuum cleaner! I am very impressed with the weight of it. When I first received the Vax Mach Air, I thought that there was no way that this cleaner was going to be very powerful......how wrong I was!!!! I had vacuumed my rug about an hour before I used my new Mach Air, it was amazing how much dust was in the cylinder after just one application!

I recently had the pleasure of receiving a brand new Vax MachAir Vacuum cleaner U91-MA Series. After using it several times what can I say.. Its outstanding!

The Vax Mach Air is a compact, lightweight vacuum cleaner, which makes it easy to use and to store. The suction of this machine is amazing, it left my carpets looking brighter and dealt with pet hair (two cats one long and one short hair) with no problems. The brushes can be raised to clean wooden floors, but it is so powerful it clings to lino and will not move.

I have recently received a Vax Mach Air vacuum cleaner and was firstly impressed by the compact design and the lightness of the machine. It was out of the box - plug and go with no complicated assemble. The machine is easy to use and very good at reaching those confined spaces which other machines we had could not. The suction is good and powerful and there is no clogging or collection of hairs, etc on the suction rotating parts.

On appearance the Mach Air is a very nice design. It is so light and easy to push,so ideal for carrying upstairs,it feels like your pushing around a toy hoover. The suction is really good on carpets and there is an easy button to push to stop the brush rotating when you want to hoover hard floors. I would have had my vax mac for almost a year and it was almost a year too long. It is the worst vaccum cleaner I ever had it was noisy heavy and lacked suction, whatever it did suck up it spit back out along the carpet this was very frustrating keep going over the same spot time and again.
