Ordered a parcel for next day 10 am on a saturday. this was urgent. had text to say will be with you between 3pm and 4pm so phone and was told they do not offer a 10 am service on a saturday. 4pm on saturday came and went no parcel check tracking delayed. no parcel came phone up monday morning and was told it was carded no card recived and some one was in all day. would not be using ukmail again… Read Full Review

Anybody would think that these idiots were in the business of delivering goods. How is it that this company, renowned for its bad reviews, is still in operation? If a retailer uses them then take your business elsewhere. I guarantee things will go wrong and when it does you will NOT get it resolved satisfactorily. I have been told that my parcel has been put on the delivery van for delivery on the 26th,27th, and now the 28th jan 2016. I am still waiting for delivery. I asked for a time slot for to-day and gave a phone number but have had no information. There is only one conclusion that you can come to and that is, the parcel has been lost. “Offhand treatment by an inefficient company”

UK mail delivered a parcel addressed to me clearly by a very reputable company. I was delivered to the wrong house in the wrong road and with a different post code. That was bad enough but when the parcel was discovered, thanks to the lady living at the wrong address, I contacted UK mail and had two replies, one saying that the parcel was out for delivery and secondly that "the case is closed" At no time did they telephone me nor could I speak to a person. I have been sent a set top box via my phone company (which I did not want but only took but it lowered my phone bill). Owing to UK Mail's intransigence I am never going to receive this. They cannot guarantee a time unless Talk Talk pay for the premium service so unless I sit at home all day well you get the picture. They seriously suggested that I ask a neighbour to stay in all day and they think a depot 20 miles away is local. Their online system is even worse and don't waste your time… Read Full Review

“Don't bother trying to claim!”

If UK Mail lose a parcel, you have to get your claim in within 7 days. As a seller I only know a parcel is missing when the customer advises me and this alone can take 7 days or longer. They will then get you jumping through so many hoops that most customers will simply give up. This is a highly unethical company and is best avoided. … Read Full Review

Apparently i have a porch, and my parcel was left in it, now i have NO porch, so i have come to the conclusion that whilst i was in my kitchen, somebody from hogwarts came round built a porch in my front garden on the LAWN, Waited for UKmail to deliver the parcel, and then demolished the porch within 2 minutes of the parcel being delivered, with no damage to my Lawn, flower beds, cleaned the area so well there was a not even a speck of cement dust to be seen and i never saw or heard a… Read Full Review

We waited in all morning for a delivery from O2 UK, and we got a text message advising that the driver would be at our house between 8:02-09:02 to deliver my parcel. Checked the online system one the delivery was late and it advised that the "delivery had been attempted". “Rubbish company with useless customer services staff”

They managed to loose the first consignment completely, and only managed to deliver 3 out of 4 parcels when it was resent. The driver claimed the third parcel had been 'delayed'. When i sent an email query i got a reply with a case number and then another email the next day saying only that the case had been closed, with no explanation as to why or any response to my query. “Awful customer service - rude staff, no help”

I have only had 2 problems with service in the past year, and both have been via UK Mail. The first item was delayed by UK Mail for almost a week with no reason. I paid for next day delivery, I received a notification from my supplier when they promptly dispatched it, and then it got lost in UK Mail's system. I phoned customer services and was passed to 3 different colleagues who were simply trying to palm me off to one another. I ordered my parcel on the 26th Dec. (Stupid idea I know). I'm a very impatient person so I waited 3-4 days for the delivery then finally the money went out of my account. The day after I got a text message saying it will be delivered the next day. Today I waited 6 hours and no delivery. Ordered a bespoke item of jewellery and the sender unfortunately used UKMail. Item was due for delivery on 17th Dec but didn't arrive and status changed to 'Delayed' with anew delivery date of 18th Dec. Item again didn't arrive and therefore had to wait until Monday 20th Dec before I could contact their 'Customer Services' (and I use that term loosely). I purchased a jacket which unfortunately was the wrong size. I spoke to the supplier, Veals Fishing Tackle, who could not have been more helpful. They arranged for the jacket to be collected by UK Mail I waited in all day. No collection. Veals contacted UK Mail where a second collection date was arranged.
