had to collect the item myself from uk mail which cost me bout a fiver in fuel said they had attempted delivery 3 times and left a calling card to let me know never recieved any calling and was at home most of the time on days attempted to deliver. Tried to phone them a couple of times to complain and rearrange another delivery but no reply. A terrible service do not use!!!! (read more)

3 Times now for UK MAIL to turn up late for a 9am-5pm collection or NOT AT ALL. After we had waited the first time for 8 hours turned up 20 minuites outside 5pm and waited less than 10 seconds after we had waited 8 hours. Other 2 times a complete no show, they should be paying compensation for the 3 days spent off work etc. Tried contacting them online no response whatsoever. No awaiting a 4th rearrangement for repair collection I am not holding out any hope for them to bother to turn up... (read more)

Missed the delivery yesterday so they have left a note saying it is to be delivered today. Trying to call the 0845 number to find out if they roughly what time, got an answer phone message, moved onto ringing for 5 minutes and then cut out. Trying to leave instructions for them to hide the parcel in the garden online, but can only write a maximum of 35 characters on the "manage your delivery" section of the website. I had a delivery from Dell via this company. They gave me no warning on delivery time, when I missed their drop off the 2nd time they left a note saying to rearrange delivery on their website which I did for the next day. The Next came and went. I waited in all day. Eventually at 6 O'clock I tried ringing the main number on their website. AVOID THIS NUMBER! I was on hold for over 10 minutes on 3 occasions. I ordered some stuff from a site. The site tries to send me 2 packages via uk mail. uk mail delay one of the packages for some reason, now I have to arrange to be home for 2 days for 2 deliveries (I get a text telling me this). Then no-one turned up, on either day. Did not ring the bell, did not leave a missed package slip. I ordered a phone off orange, which I arranged for my wife to collect from the depot. There was no problem with this, she took my passport, had our electricity bill and collect the parcel fine. However as thee was a problem with the phone it neded to be replaced. Due to the incompetence of Ukmail the parcel has disappeared within their organization as the parcel was not scanned, despite the driver leaving a card explaining he was unable to deliver the package with a consignment note no. There was no indication on the card of what action the driver would take as no boxes were ticked. If i knew my delivery would have been with ukmail then i wouldn't have bothered buying the item in the first place... They said it would be delivered today between 10am and 2pm and i receive an email at 9pm saying the item has been delivered to my address and that i myself have signed for it, they must be taking the mick. Been at home all day waiting for the delivery and they tell me that i have signed for it. I would highly recommend to avoid ukmail at all costs... They need to sort it out. (read more)

I have had a parcel from orange, I arranged a time of delivery between 08.30 -12.30. Having taken time from work to receive the parcel I had to give up. The parcel was then delivered at 16.47, my 14 year old son was at home, answered the door but the delivery man refused to leave it with him, they said the item was to expensive to leave with him. EE should be using a different supplier. How can you state you have attempted to deliver yet no one came to my house at all and not leave a calling card absolute stupidness. Now I have to go and pick it up. I have been on the phone for so long ie 35mins (I think they should check the pulse of their workers). This is definately a Watchdog complaint! Worst company in the world! I still have not received my parcel after them trying to deliver on Friday last week, I rearranged for Monday, they claim to have left it in the porch of my house when I asked them to put it in the outbuilding behind. When i didnt receive a package I decided to call UKMails help line, 5mins into listening to a ring tone... it cut off. It does that quite often. Then sometimes it switches to an announcement and into some sort of queue... then you know you're in! However... that just means you could be waiting 20-25mins before getting to someone! 3 calls before I managed to get to someone to say its lost! (read more)

The driver kept my parcel on his van for two days but never delivered depsite numerous calls by the sender and myself. In the end had to go to the depot which is 3 mins drive from my place to collect. The staff apologised for the delay but gave no reason why the driver didn't deliver. 2 days, 2 miles drive and no delivery. I've had numerous things delivered by this company or should i say NOT delivered by this company. Drivers claim to have been to the house when i've been staring at the front door waiting in anticipation. Either the drivers wear a cloak that makes them invisible or they are blatant liars. Spend hours trying to chase them up on the phone and no answer. feel ripped off at the premium number as well. However when I thought of using twitter they replied within 30 minutes and sorted out the issue I was having. I am all for using social media but it wasn't really advertised. The phone line was the main port of call on the website and via the text service. Via twitter the driver was given my mobile number etc. Why can't they be this flexible from the start. I booked and paid for a delivery of cheese to go to a customer. They failed to collect at their stipulated time and when I contacted them I was informed that the delivery slot had been amended. The call centre agent could not tell me why this was the case and told me that I had to write in for a refund. I ordered a large garden lantern from Amazon. When it was delivered I was out so a note was pushed through the door. It said the parcel had been left in the blue bin. Went outside to check the bin, no parcel. Had to check all the neighbors bins before finding it in one across the road. Parcel was upside down and had obviously been dropped in the bottom. Have only ever had 2 dealings with UK Mail and I can honestly say they are the worst company ever. How they are still going I really don't know. The first time I got a missed delivery notice through the door. I arranged to pick up the parcel from my nearest depot, called to double check it was there to collect and off I went. Delivery was scheduled for 9am-1pm. I waited in all day, close to the front door, but no delivery. Later that evening, the website showed that the delivery had been attempted at 11:30, and a card left. No card was left, and I'm pretty sure that no delivery attempt was made. Judging by other people's experiences, it looks like they're lying. I'm going to complain directly to T-mobile, as I doubt this mob would care. Parcel was first delivered 2 days ago, since then they were here 4 times, no card, no notice, nothing. Spending my entire day home, took a day off, still nothing. Missed a parcel by minutes (found a note through the letterbox stating they would try again the next day), called customer service and they rang through to the depot and re-arranged delivery for the same day, I was on the phone no longer than 3 minutes. HOWEVER!: The customer service department noted that 'delivery had not yet been attempted', therefore re-delivery should not be a problem. I had my parcel delivery scheduled and my housemate at home. He booked a day off to receive it as it is very important. E/mail said it will be delivered between 10.30 and 14.30. They collected a consignment from me in Shrewsbury on 2nd May to go 40 miles to Stoke on an overnight service, paid for in advance.They claim they couldn't find the address (a farm on a 600m long lane !!) The goods were then marked on their website as Return to Sender and promptly sent to Slough by mistake. Tryed to change delivery address for a parcel via the sender who sent three emails on three different days and all three were ignored by UKMail. Agree, agree, agree!!! I waited in for 3 days - each time I was told the parcel hadn't been loaded on the van when I phoned up to find out why I had wasted my day.
A couple of times the helpdesk told me to collect from depot (surely not the point!).
Luckily I didn't as I finally found out from the van driver that the reason he hadn't loaded my parcels previously was because they had clearly been smashed.
UKMail wreck customers' goods and don't bother to let you know what is going on - even when you phone.
The helpdesk is very unhelpful! (assuming you can get an answer at all.) Appalling service.

I work for am IT department in a hospital. I ordered a part and paid £7 for next day delivery via this company. on the day it should have arrived it just said awaiting delivery on the website all day, the next day they came to deliver, asked our receptionist where the IT office was then would not leave the package with them as there was no name on it??? Possible the worst courier service I have been unfortunate enough to deal with. Several times now I have not received my parcel, only to go on to the website to find that they couldn't deliver, citing some pathetic excuse that only amounts to laziness on behalf of the driver. No phone call, no buzz on the intercom, nothing. As an Internet retailer we have used a number of different courier company's over the years and UK Mail have been the worst by far. We signed up to UK MAlL earlier this year and have no ends of problems with them. Their drivers have lost a number of parcels, leaving them on door steps, over fences and in communial areas in blocks of flats. This has happened even though our acount with them was set up as signature required. They lost nearly a £1000 worth of items and have paid just £12.00... (read more)

...guess what? It didn't materialise. Left a message with the driver twice, phoned the 'helpline' (premium rate) and couldn't get through. Called TMobile, who didn't sound surprised and patched me through to the same line. Still waiting now... Why would the driver phone me to confirm house number and then not turn up? I waited in all day Wednesday for a replacement for a stolen mobile on my daughter's behalf. No parcel came. T-mobile apologised profusely and said it would definitely be here 9-1 on Friday.
