“Damaged Package and no acknowledgement of blame”

Damaged package arrived delivered by UK mail. The package was torn open and crushed with the contents exposed. I cannot add a photo to show how badly damaged the package was but I was so shocked at the condition of the package that I wrote an e-mail complaining to the company directors and received this reply which blamed the company that I bought the item off. My Ebay delivery through UK Mail was an absalute disaster. I paid extra for Express 24hr delivery which took 7 days. I needed my item urgently and in the end had to cancel my order with the seller who use Uk Mail for all there deliveries.The seller addmited to having lots of problems with with UK Mail. “Rubbish - no sign of my parcel anywhere!”

They say they've delivered my parcel and left a 'sorry we missed you card' and it's been left in a green bin. This is not true . Firstly I was at home at the supposed time of delivery , secondly my porch door was open so a parcel could have easily been left there (which other couriers do) and not in my green bin (as it's not accessible or in view) Thirdly there was no card through my letterbox . A parcel was claimed by tracking page to be left behind gate. It was not. We had been in all day. I rang them and they said the driver had delivered it. No further information was given. After 4 phone calls, They said it might have been delivered to the wrong address but they did not know. I will keep this brief but believe me it is rather long-winded. I ordered a new Samsung S7 Edge in May which was delivered on time with no issues. Unfortunately after 2 weeks it became defective so it was sent back for a replacement. This is when it all went wrong. “Total Failure of 24 hour service”

A parcel was scheduled to be picked up from me on Monday 4 July.. It didn't happen. On Tuesday I received a text saying it would be picked up between 15.30 and 16.30. It is now 19.55 on Thursday and it has still not been picked up. They allegedly had a systems failure on Monday; this is not a valid excuse for a delay of more than 4 days in 2016. It is. UKMail was supposed to deliver my parcel on Monday, 4th July 2016, it's a next day delivery service. (I ordered from Thursday, the week before). I waited the wholeday then 15 min after passing their suggested hour (3-4 pm) and no contact, I saw online that it was undated "delayed". I have had e mails on 3 consecutive days giving time slots foe a delivery. I have ensured I have been in to receive the delivery but no delivery. Tracking info is obscure and has twice stated the parcel is in the location yet this obviously means nothing. Companies beware, this kind of poor service influences future sales. If i could leave a zero star review I would. I recently bought something from a company who used UK mail as their courier. I paid extra for a 24hour delivery service. They arrived the next day at my elderly parents house with half the order, which was politely refused as there was no way to sign for half the order. The deliver man became both aggressive and abusive towards my parents, then openly told them that he would not redeliver the items again. Missed one delivery as we were at work. Arranged for it to be delivered on another day explaining that I would be home from work at 13:00. Received a text for UKMail that I was going to receive my parcel on Monday. I made sure to be in. All of a sudden I get an email to say the delivery had failed due to no answer and that I would have a card through the letter box with a parcel number. I have been waiting in for 2 days straight to get a parcel and it's never shown up I have got one not saying sorry we missed you because I was on the toilet the drivers are the worst for not giving you a chance to come to the door. You cannot speak to anyone, the answering machine offers a few options but if none of them match your needs, it cuts you off. I needed to know if a parcel was being delivered today (We missed the courier yesterday)but there is no way of knowing.
