“printer ink gets clogged”

I am very disappointed with the printer ink on my HP photosmart. First off this printer/scanner/photocopier is a good unit and you cant really complain at the price as i use it to scan nearly daily and never have a problem with this functionality, however it is the printing that seems to let it down. I dont print papers every day but the ink seems to deplete quickly and I have had to throw at least two fairly full black cartridges away in the last 6 months due to them clogging and in essence... “Printer cartridges seem to spoil for me”

I've had this printer for about 9 months now and generally like the print quality although i find that sometimes and more often than not i get 'stuck' print cartridges which get clogged and will not print. This is extremely annoying and in essence means i have to throw away the cartridge which is an expensive game. I dont print every day which i here doesnt help with this 'sticking' but i would still expect better from HP. (read more)
