When we ordered our new gas fire we were very pleasantly surprised as to the helpfulness of the staff we encountered at SNH. They guided us through our needs and answered our questions( which there was a few) and at all times were very understanding, polite, and offered more assistance if we needed it. A breath of fresh air to use this company. When we "resorted" to the email route we were promptly replied to and offered further help should we have needed it. The cost involved was also much cheaper than other sources we nearly had the misfortune to use ! Well done to all concerned, keep up the good work.

“worst customer service I have ever experienced”

I would not give this company even 1 star as I would not deal with Flues2U (Trading as SNH)again. We ordered a flue pipe from here on a Monday. I phoned before just to make sure it was in stock even though it states online that everything is in stock. The guy assured me it was. I placed the order on Monday morning as it stated 1-2 days delivery (not approx) but 1-2 days. We needed the pipe asap and as they seemed to be the shortest delivery time we took the plunge. Not ordering from a local company as they said possibly 3 days. Anyway we organised for the fitter to come on Thursday. He had come the week before but had the wrong part so this was already rescheduled. When the pipe had not arrived on Thursday I telephoned the company. They could not find the order and when they phoned back with some excuses they said it would not be there till the next day. The guy was not at all helpful and did not admit any responsibility at this time at all. NO humble apologies for their mistakes(which by my customer service experience can do a lot of good) As it turns out when i phoned the next day after various ill attempts online to get some satisfaction i was faced with yet again what seems to be their trade phrase "what do you want me to say!!!" No one seemed to want to take any responsibility for the late order despatch and infact they started blaming the courier who was not to blame as it turned out the item had not even been sent out until the Thursday. They also at one point said maybe it was due to the fact it was not in stock at the time!!! Hmm strange when it states all items in stock and I had checked. Finally they they decided to blaming the fact i lived in a remote area (according to them) it would not be here till Monday or Tuesday of the following week. The woman I spoke to like the others had no customer service skills what so ever. In fact at one point she even said Jesus on the phone, as I seemed to be annoying her so much in my attempt to get someone to take responsibility for the error THEY had made and come to some admission that they had in fact caused us financial loss (with the fitter having to be turned away again and inconvenience due to the fact he now cannot come back for 2 weeks.) The only thing they offered was to cancel the order which I wish I now had as it turns out we could have got a pipe from the local firm cheaper and it would have been here on Thursday.. Unfortunately by the time that we found out it was already the Friday so was too late to order. also I was not sure they would refund the postage which was almost £5. So after not getting any satisfaction from three of the staff they agreed they would get a director to phone me which has never happened.. So the long and short is DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU REQUIRE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. or you expect a delivery in 1-2 days as stated.

im still waiting on a refund they took £608 out of my account and its been 2 weeks. They issued a refund with no warning even though i was able to checkout on the website and select my home as a valid area for postage. now im out £600 and still waiting. terribly bad business not posting to somewhere even though its listed on their website.

Unfortunately we are unable to ship certain items to Northern Island and can not take this delivery option from the website. As you have stated in your review you were emailed as soon as the order was processed and you would have been refunded at the time which is normal practise. You are implying we have taken your money and not sent the goods which clearly is not the case. If you have not recieved your refund please contact us on 01843 842727 and we can check this, without an order reference we are unable to comment further. Please think about adjusting your reveiew, regards SNH.

I still stand by my review. No where on your website was it stated that this item was not available to northern ireland. i had to wait a full 2 weeks before recieveing my money back. You should easily be able to restrict the purchase of this item on your website given the selected postage.

Regardless i was able to find the same stove £145 cheaper on a different website and they DID post to N.Ireland for £28. that even cheaper than you post to the mainland....

GAS FIRE Supplied NOT TO DESCRIPTION, Incomplete damaged,seems Customer Returned, or Quality Control Reject junk. PAID IN FULL FOR A NEW STANDARD QUALITY PRODUCT. Despite of numerous Reminders - Still NOT ARRANGED FOR COLLECTION & REFUND. It is a small Trader, seems mainly working on Commission basis, Ordering from other Retailers. Untrustworthy, Non-transparent dealings. NOT RECOMMENDED - BEWARE IF YOU CAN.

All fires supplied are brand new not returns as you are implying. We can not collect or reund a fire that has been on a building site and in your possesion for nearly 30 days after being signed for in good condition.

i ordered vitreous enamel stove pipe, and a cowl through the website. One of the the sales team contacted me as soon as they opened to flag up that the cowl I ordered would not be compatible with the flue pipe I ordered - they offered me a compatible one - organised a refund of the difference in price - and the order all came through as promised with decent courier who gave details as to when the item would arrive. Perfect service all round and excellent prices - would recommend to anyone.

Spoke to a very helpful member of staff. Ordering was quick. Like the extra free insurance guarantee for delivery. Stove arrived, at first looked daunting to put together but it was quite straightforward really. Purchased a cheap water filter to use only for fire. The glow is beautiful, heater not too noisy compared to other electric fires I've owned. The 'flame' effect is brilliant. Some people comment on steaming glass or an operational hum, I can hear nothing and absolutely no steaming of glass. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and I am so delighted I got the exact fire I was looking for! As for the two weekly clean to keep it fully operational...much better than cleaning out a dirty real log burner IMHO. The remote is a nice touch too. The price of this fire is very competitive and I've checked many shops and websites.

“Stockbridge electric stove and pipe”

I looked around for an electric stove that would fit in a small wall space in my lounge . You can find these at many online retailers and at varying prices. At the time of writing snh had this stove at the best price. To make the illusion real I wanted the pipe to complete the effect. I spoke to dimplex and also to snh and both were very helpful. The pipe is matt and the stockbridge fire is high gloss. However they match in to form the illusion of a real wood burner. The pipe can just sit on top but you could fix it with the pads provided. The stove comes very well packed and box has carrying cut out handles in the side to enable lifting. It is preset with the logs but it also comes with the coals. For the moment the logs look very good. Remote control and away you go. The whole process was straight forward and the email and txt updates let you know what is going on at each stage from placing the order. Parcel force who delivered gave you a 1hour delvery window which also suited. You can always shop around but right from the start snh processed the order very well and their follow up email to enquire that I was happy was a nice touch. Well done in the whole process.

Well done SNH. You have renewed my faith after appalling service from Easylifegroup. Actually, I am posting this mainly to prove that I am not a moaning G*t! The service from SNH was exemplary. They delivered in a couple of days and almost to the minute that they promised. Can't fault that at all. I notice that SNH have some very mediocre posts on here. I also notice the postees don't seem able to spell too well. Relevant? Probably not.

“Not worth the hassle”

It took awhile for someone to answer the phone and when I finally got thru the staff member was ill informed about the product and I had to be put thru to someone that wanted to be there apart from that the rest of the process was painless the delivery was on time but the packaging looked like had been kicked all the way here The product was ok everything fitted together and worked there was a few marks but they wood be hidden and after reading other reviews about sending things back and getting refunds I'd rather put up with it
