The fire is well made with negligible noise from the fan which when in operation gives out a good heat quickly warming the room. I have a small dining room, with an empty fireplace which was lacking something. This is exactly what was required! The stove is solid and comes with a few bags of coal pieces which add a note of authenticity to the overall look. The flame effect is good, and the stove definitely adds a glow of warmth to the room. I ordered a shower cubicle that over a week later hadn't arrived. An enquiry prompted the response that the courier had only just informed SNH that it had arrived damaged. I will publicly acknowledge here that I was wholly wrong in accusing them of not sending it. The second AND third units were also damaged en route which has resulted in the courier delivering a 4th one directly to me without the use of in-between hub.
