They overcharge your credit card and do not credit back the difference. The credit card companies will cancel your tickets immediately if reported. ExploreTrip no longer has a FaceBook page probably due to too many negative postings. May consumers put them out of business with reports of their bad business practices. (read more)

After booking a flight with this website, i got a mail saying that I need to contact cutomer care, if don't receive e-ticket in 24 hrs. When I contacted them, they said flight fare has increased, I need to pay extra bucks.After sending a mail "agreeing to pay extra bucks", then they book a flight. I had to cancel my ticket because I was severely ill, too ill to travel. They initially said they'd issue me my refund but charge me $250 fee. Then I told them I have a legitimate excuse and to waive the fee, of which they said would be fine as long as I sent them a doctor's certificate within 24 hours of my departure. I purchased 3 tickets and went through hell. There was never any disclosure or info that my particular fare was non refundable at time of purchase nor on email confirmation I received. I guess this is the kind of company that treats you well until you actually expect them to keep their word. I had to change my airline ticket. They told me to pay the fee of 375 USD as well as the new airline ticket and I would get a refund in 2-3 business weeks for the ticket i cancelled. “Awful customer service and not clear information booking”

As I booked my flight I got an itinerary and all, paid for it and so. A few hours later I get an e-mail (luckily I checked it again, not even a call) that the airline canceled the booking and my card won't be charged. I've already booked/paid everything else such as hotels and rentals. So I decided to call them and talk to them. The guy completely ignores the situation and just tells me to book flights several days later. Not even understanding that I'm loosing money because of them. (read more)

This has been the WORST booking experience I've ever had. Holy cow, they're bad. After scheduling a trip I had to call four times over the course of two weeks to ask for an email confirmation. Then I needed to change my flight home and talked with a seemingly bored, disinterested and rude man who didn't send me confirmation of those changes either. Had to call repeatedly for that too. By far my worst shopping experience ever!!! I purchased the same two tickets needed for my wife and toddler (paper ticket) from PIT to MNL several times over a two and a half month period. The worst seem to be luxury4less. They claim to be able to offer business class tickets or even first class for coach prices! When it comes to checking in... the problems show and one looses a lot of money.

We had ticket insurance, but getting it requires a letter from the ticket seller that we didn't get anything back.
