I found that having someone describe everything in detail in the theory lessons and being able to ask questions made it a lot more memorable than just reading it yourself at home. The best thing about the course was packing 20 hours of driving into one week! I think it really makes a difference and helps you to improve a lot faster. I think the 5Day programme was amazing! 20 hours of intensive driving over the course of one week really gets you to grip things easier and quicker. It's everything you need to learn jam-packed in a week and the knowledge you gain from this programme will stick with you forever! I was really happy with my car and instructor. 5Day even went above and beyond to provide everything I needed for my test date, last minute. And I still managed to pass. This was a great course. It was very intense, but it all paid off as I passed both tests with flying colours, within 9 days! Bob Merridale, my practical instructor is an absolute gem and I would highly recommend him, as he got me through the test with 1 minor fault. He is also very good with the theory instruction. The course was helpful and was all I really needed to pass my test ( I only had one other professional lesson). The course was hard work, but this is to be expected from a 5Day course. I enjoyed that the theory was dealt with, and therefore out of the way before the five days were over. Fantastic instructors both on the road and in the centre. It's not for the faint hearted as it is very tiring and hard work if you are a beginner. Like we were told though the clue is in the title "INTENSIVE Course"!!! I passed my test today and without the staff at 5day I would still be walking to work tomorrow, instead I'm jumping in my car and not worrying about if I need to put a coat and scarf on. I booked my 5day course without doing much research. Shortly after another instructor called me and told me that 5day are a waste of money etc, and I almost to cancelled the course. I couldn't be more glad that I didn't cancel. I passed my practical test on my first attempt this morning, and also got 50/50 on my first theory test attempt. My experience of 5Day was excellent - I needed my license quickly to start a new job. I had only had 1 previous lesson. The classroom theory lessons were great and I passed this test no problems, the driving instructor was very experienced and made me feel at ease. Where 5Day are excellent is being able to book you a test much sooner than the standard DSA waiting time. I passed first time within 1 week of the course. The whole course was spot on from start to finish, really helpful "Classroom" time that covered a lot of stuff that you might otherwise miss, this was coupled with a great, experienced driving instructor so when i went for the tests i felt relaxed and well prepared. My brother did the 5-day about 5 years ago. He loved it and passed both Theory & Practical first time. I decided to do it when i turned 17 and i loved it. Yes it is hard and they push you but that push is exactly what you need. The instructors are understanding, just ask for them to go over something or to slow down. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and i started the 5day on the 18th Feb and passed by the 28th Feb :) Word of warning, the wednesday is the hardest day :P (read more)

Never taken driving lessons before but was told this would be ok - it wasn't. At the end of the week which included 20 hours driving on the road (you do the maths on how much per hour it cost me) I was told I needed more lessons - which I had to pay for (another £90 gone). 5DAY Comment: I am sorry to hear that you were unable to attend any of the free lessons that we had offered. The course hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 and as such we are unable to offer correction lessons outside of these times. The free lessons and retest are not designed to be taken immediately. You would have failed your test for something serious and as such this can take time to correct. For this reason we offer a course of free lessons which are designed for each pupil individually so that they will be successful on the next attempt at the test. If you were in a hurry and just wanted to take another test you would have been advised to rebook your test and not to enrol on the mentoring programme. I would just like to clarify that your course would have included a one hour brief in the class before your drive and that time has been proven very useful to those that attend. You make no mention of that so it appears that you did not attend the course in full and that may have been the reason that you failed. Also, I can confirm that the course is suitable for a beginner as our instructors teach the entire syllabus. The fact that you took a test shows that it was suitable for you, however you obviously made some mistakes on the test.

I booked in for 5Day, wasnt told the fact i hadnt had any lessons it was pointless me going. I had my 20 hours lessons but no test at the end because my instructor told me i needed another 20 hours. I searched and searched and checked so many reviews on guarantee pass training in North London before finding 5day and choosing them. Their price is great and their guarantee is good too. I chose the package which didn't include theory test training as I'd already done mine. My daughter had a good course with 5Day, but on the last day she had a crash which the instructor was clear that it was not her fault. Clearly she was in no fit state to take her test, and needed more lessons. In this I needed 5Days help to influence the insurance company to help us make a claim for more lessons or a course retake. All the staff at 5 day are welcoming and friendly. The course is structured well to make you get the most you can out of the week. At the start of the week you fill out a quick questionnaire which tells the instructor your 'learning style' which helps you and the instructor to work well together. I went to the 5 day centre in Norwich and everything about it was brilliant from start to finish. My instructor Bob was so patient and encouraging and built my confidence hugely. Before my 5day course I hadnt driven since failing my first driving test over 5years ago. I quickly got the feel of driving again and was driving pretty much independently within the first few days. However, was struggling abit with a couple of the manoeuvres but my instructor Bob M didn't give up on me and pushed me until I was doing them correctly and confidently. This course does teach you how to drive a bit in a very short space of time. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean they will teach you enough to be test standard. Hardly anyone after the 5 days was ready to past their test. The rest of us were "recommended" to take about 10-20 extra hours in order to be pass standard. I was very impressed with 5day learning driving. I sucessfully passed my theory test with all the important tips they give me. the tuator was very professional and friendly at 5days, i was provided with a personal driving instructor also which i was very impressed too. he teach me all the technique of what i don't know and the very important points that i meant to know during my driving test.
I Mrs Vinella Moothien, successfully passed my test with 5days with in a short period learning with them.
if anyone with a bit of driving experince want to pass their theory and driving test in a short period i recommend 5day to them.
