    I love cdwow. They're cheap and sometimes they sell cds which I cannot order in the Netherlands (my country). Orders normally take 7 to 10 days to arrive.

    I ordered a dvd from them not knowing they are not in the US exclusively. Not only do I think they sent a dvd of My Dinner With Andre but when I went to play it something came up as Wrong Region. I emailed them and was told that I need to be sure of the region when I order from them. There was no information on the description telling me what significance the region had before I ordered. I thought maybe it meant the region from which my dvd would be sent. I don't order from unknown companies, ...

    When I first started ordering from CDWOW several years ago, I never had any problems. Good value products that were always promptly dispatched. But in the last year or so, I've noticed that their reliability has plummeted which is such a shame. I still order from them from time to time but only if it's not an item that I need urgently as their 5-7 day dispatch time is a joke - more like a month minimum. I now use www.play.com for more immediate purchases.

    I ordered 3 CD's from CD WOW, I got no e-mail confirmation. Around a week later 1 cd arrived. I contacted Customer Services who basically refused to deal with me until 21 days was up even though they confirmed the order was despatched around 4 days before. I waited the 21 days and have now sent around 10 e-mails. Each time someone different responds but is vague and does not provide the information I've asked for. They are now trying to tell me that I provided and incorrect address and postcode, ...

    Absolutely shocking. I ordered a DVD with my Nectar points on 14th March, and I am STILL waiting for it 2 months later, despite them claiming they sent out another copy - needless to say I never received that one either. They have no sense of urgency, no courtesey, my last two emails to them (getting increasingly exasperated) have been ignored.

    In the beginning I loved CD-WOW. Their products were cheap and I had never had any problems with the products. Then later all the problems came; the items I ordered were almost every time broken, it took ages and several e-mails to get a new cover, when you finally got the cover it was the cheap kind and only suitable for one kind of cds or one kind of dvds, they started sending me the wrong stuff and I had to pay the shipment myself.

    CD Wow sent me the wrong CD. When I asked to be sent the correct version I was told that I would have to pay for the return shipping. I'm in Canada and that would cost almost as much as the CD itself. And it was their mistake! I would NEVER buy from CD Wow again. I'd rather pay a few dollars more and buy from Amazon UK.

    CD Wow is very poor,if you do find any thing cheaper at cd wow ,you are more than likley going to get an email saying Delay in dispatch/out of stock,followed by another a week later saying your order has been cancelled. Dont bother shop elsewhere.

    I ordered a PC game on 15/03/09 - it arrived on 31/03/09, only it was not what I had ordered. I contacted them and they emailed me a returns label. I returned the item to them on 03/04/09 and as of today they claim that they have still not received it back. I have sent them the proof of posting certificate yet they say I have to allow 30 days for the item to arrive back. This is ridiculous. I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from CD WOW.

    Despite being told by CD WOW that my item was shipped on the 7th of February I still haven't received it! When I have tried to get an answer from CD Wow they keep telling me I need to wait 21 days before they will investigate. This was a leaving present for my sister & she will have left before the item is 'investigated'!! They are unhelpful!     Tried two different credit cards with CD WOW. Both said transaction could not be processed but wouldn't say why. It also said that if any funds were held for pre-approval they would refund me as soon as possible. IF it wasn't processed it shouldn't have ANY funds held.

    I ordered a CD and DVD digipak from CD WOW on the 8th of January. It's now the 29th, and I've been alerted by them that they don't have it in stock. After pressing (it took several emails to get them to answer my question) I found out that not only do they not have the album I ordered in stock, they also have no way of getting it in stock! Waiting to see if I get a full refund or not.

    Cheap-ish and once on the mailing list you regularly get sent £1 off offers. Customer Care is pretty much a joke. It is better to buy from Play.com or even Amazon, both of which have significantly better returns policies and compare reasonably with price. Both of these are bound by European internet trading laws too.

    Placed order from CD WOW for a Christmas present. Got e-mail to say it was delayed. Bought other pressie. Dec 24 th e-mail to say it had been dispatched. Today Jan 7th and still no sign of its arrival. My credit card has been charged. As a middle aged woman, I'm wondering what I'm going to do with Tomb Raider!

    I ordered Fifa 09 for the Wii for my son's christmas present on 2 December. They first sent me the PC version and so this was returned and advised that the correct version was dispatched on 12 December. It has never been received and as it was getting close to Chrsitmas I had to get it from elsewhere.     When the item was out of stock, the website still continued to take my order without informing me of this. My order then seemed to go into an indefinite period of 'pending dispatch' From reading other comments, it would appear that CDWOW hold very little stock, and probably source products to order. I will not be using CDWOW again.

    In the early days I never had much problem with CD Wow but over the last year very poor to recently I`ll never buy again. I ordered a dvd of no rarity and in any High Street music store. Six weeks before Xmas to ensure it arrived. It`s not arrived though money taken I asked them to pop it in the post box on the way home but a rather to the point email arrived of do you want a refund ? I said yes and that was 5 days ago.     I ordered six weeks before Xmas quite an easy item to get being a Rolling Stones dvd. One week before Xmas and starting to panic I asked them to bob it in the post box on their way home. The reply was they are having problems ordering it and would I like a refund. I said yes please and now three days before Xmas Eve with no refund or dvd. Not the first time I`ve had this slow service either from this lot. Never again.
