    I was with Nildram for about 3 years before leaving them in August 09. All the time everything worked the service was reasonable and the price was better then many competitors. Unfortunately I live in a non-LLU exchange area so I can't get the best rates or speeds.
    The problems began when the line speed suddenly dropped to almost nothing, in fact for 2 weeks it was nothing. The constant repetition of the problem to the help-line, the reluctance to involve Openreach, the money and time wasted on chargeable phone calls when I had a free call package with the very people who were charging me, the hopeless email help address that only sent automated replies, the fact that it took nearly 3 months to fix the problem, all that nearly drove me round the bend. The final straw was when I wrote a letter of complaint to the Head Office address and never even received an acknowledgement. When I asked for my MAC code saying I was leaving and giving the reason, I still only got automated replies that didn't address the point. And now that I've left and transferred to another ISP they are still billing me.
    They really don't deserve to have customers when they treat them so badly.
