    The Trangia is made from aluminium so it is lightweight. It includes 2 cooking pans, a frying pan and a kettle which all come in useful. It has a wind shield for efficient cooking.

    The meths burner is not great since it leaves black soot on the bottom of your pans. By diluting the meths with about 10% of water it stops the sooting up, but if you put too much water in you can't light the meths. The size of the flame can be controlled using an adjustable cover but it is a bit awkward.

    You can get a gas burner to replace the meths burner, it is quire expensive on top of the cost of the trangia. The gas burner is well worth getting since it makes cooking much easier.

    I have also bought a non-stick frying pan as an extra which makes frying eggs much easier, but you can get away with out it.
