“Well worth going a fantastic afternoon”

Been 3 times over the years and its well worth going, its very bizzy and buzzy, great for kids (over 5) and adults, if you like hot dogs and beer, you will have plenty of choice, the ice ring is massive, and a real good atmosphere. But take a bucket load of cash as you will need it, the rides are on a ticket system so can work out expensive, saying that tho all the rides look brand new and very safe, even the kids rides are good. All in all a good day out. (read more)

The Christmas market in Hyde Park is motivated by the German style Christmas markets you would find in Munich or Nuremberg. They got a few elements right, e.g.the food and drink offers are pretty authentic German stuff. They are pretty massively overprized, but I can't hold that against them since that just seems to be the same at every Christmas market I've ever been to. However, a few other elements just don't seem right, like for example the various fun rides. Definitely they don't... (read more)
