the Sony BRAVIA KDL-40V2000U picture quality is really good and the display unit is lovely how ever it does cost a little more but its is really good

I would highly recommend this TV, esp. if you have access to HD channels.

V good blacks, & good upscaling of standard definition channels.

Fairly easy to change settings, esp. if you're familiar with Sony TVs. EPG is good, with settings for reminders, recording (with suitable auxiliary equipment), etc. Lots of connection points.

Uses about the same wattage as my old Sony 28" cathode-ray TV.

Firstly, I would point out that I went to my local Comet store to see all the LCD TV's I was interested in running side by side, and I can quite honestly say that I was not impressed with any of the pictures these TV's were displaying. It was only when I went to my local Independent retailer who had them set up correctly, was I knocked out by the incredible picture the Toshiba 32WLT58 was displaying. Stupidly Places like Comet don't bother setting the displays up properly, and the TV's all seem...

bought DM Tech combi 18 mths ago, already broke down. This tv is in the bedroom so it has not been used alot. I wish i had read the revues before i bought it, an absolute waist of £300
