LG 22LU5000

Summary
Although extremely butch TV fans may be deterred by the 22-inch 22LU5000 LCD TV's flamboyant design, many others will find it appealing. Whether or not a 1080p resolution is necessary on a screen of this size is debatable, but you can't question this ...

Pros
Picture quality is great for a TV of this size ; cute design ; can also be used as a monitor

Cons
Sounds weedy ; design won&apos ; t be to everyone&apos ; s taste ; the need for a 1080p resolution on a 22-inch screen is debatable

Verdict
The LG 22LU5000 has almost unbeatable shelf appeal thanks to its appealing appearance and 1080p resolution. It produces some really decent picture quality as well. But we're not entirely sure that such a high resolution is that important on a 22-inch ...

Samsung LE40R88BD

I dont understand why there are bad reviews of the Samsung LE40R88BD TV on here, perhaps its just bad luck for a few purchasers. Picture quality is outstanding even with built in Freeview or a separate box. And thats not even HD which is even better. Sound is also good but obviously not better than 5.1 surround.

At first price then thought what did I get for my money, A CHEAP TV SET,at present do not see any good points. Picture not as sharp or defined as it could be,the screen keeps moving, lght gray/white now also all colours green on football pitch, blacks not a nice picture. I am now on my third replacement set for the same fault, tried my daughters philips in same set up for scarts etc never gave any problem. Phoned the shop and spoke to the mangeress requesting refund and she argued there was...

Wharfedale LCD42720HDF 4
7 May 2009

I bought my 32'' LCD Wharfedale LCD42720HDF 4 in 2007 at argos. The LCD has been working perfectly. The pictures are good and the audio performance is quite commendable.

I recommend the LCD for anyone that does not have so much to spend but still wants high quality performance.

However, i lost my manual and i cannot tell if my model has a HMDI scoket/jack.

The Toshiba Regza 46XF355BD is great value for money - £799 - Aug 08. Great picture with Blue Ray from PS3.
Easy to set up and use
Bezel width means it only takes up same or less space than a 42"

Evesham V27DMCX-ZE3
21 Feb 2006

Having lived with the Evesham V27DMCX-ZE3 LCD TV for a month now, I consider it as good as it gets for the £500 paid at lowestonweb.com, (including delivery). The HD input is via a sub-D socket, but otherwise I have no gripes. And there's a 3 year swap out guarantee.
