I researched and researched LCD and Plasma TVs and came to the conclusion that there is never going to be the perfect LCD TV so I took the plunge. The Toshiba 42X3030DB has received very good online reviews and the price of £879 (before using Quidco and any vouchers) seemed very reasonable.

Pros:

The TV looks fantastic with an understated elegance. The stand it comes with is unobtrusive and sturdy. Set-up is very easy and with the help of online sites such as www...

If you, as I do, have viewing and listening apart, this is a nice panel for both very close and small-room television.

My television is fixed, it took about 5 minutes.
I believe this problem arose form moving house, not only the movement but we had...

The 1080p animated film demo in the store was stunning but wish I had insisted on a 1:1 feed from a dedicated aerial and seen Freeview. The store blamed a joint feed for poor quality but I have found that that SD TV (images from Freeview or cable) are very disappointing due to re-scaling from 520p to 1080p.
