This is the first 1080 TV I have owned, the first LCD TV, and the first that I could connect all the peripherals that I have connected over the years to at once.
I bought the Samsung LE32C530, at £329.99, just befroe Christmas. I have since seen it cheapr online, but my old TV had become unusable so I needed something to use over the holiday.
It was easy to set up, but the cable tidy at the back came off the first day I had it, as the popper was stronger than the material holding it to the grill at the back, but it has not affected its use as a TV.
I have noticed that when using the automatic sound adjustment either on the day or night settings the volume has started to jump from a bit too quite to a bit too loud, so have stopped using that feature, but in all honesty I think that most people would have a separate sound system, and I am now thinking of this too.
The picture quality is good, the viewing angle suitable for the room I have it in, (12ft by 11ft) but I.m not sure it would be suitable when a wide viewing angle was required, I think that would require further research.
I wouldn't recommend the TV to anyone who wants the TV solely for gaming, as I don't think it would cope with the speed of the movements and the experience would be better with a more expensive TV designed for that purpose, but as an occasional gamer it is fine.
Overall I am really happy with my purchase. So far I have not got an extended warranty, but when the statutory is closer to running out I probably will, as I don't want to have buy another one anytime soon!
