What a TV, I bought the Samsung LEB40651T after my original Toshiba 42inch TV became faulty and boy am I glad this happened. This TV is superb, the picture quality is excellent although you will have to do some tinkering in the settings to get it right (but that's with all TV's). The sound is good but I have it set up through surround sound and it's crisp. One of my top marks for this TV goes to how it easily distributes the sound to different devices and this is all thanks to the 4 HDMI ports. With the last TV which only had 2 HDMI ports I had to use a switch for the surround system and the PS3, what a pain, but with this TV it is not needed, I have them both connected to the TV and it's switches the sound automatically when I switch devices, not that means I can remove 3 unnecessary optical games...brillant.

I wish had of thought of this TV before buying the other piece of tat.. this is a must buy, I did get this from curry's has a replacement and it was selling at £749 and it's no longer avaialble

Fantastic tv with amazing picture quality and sound. 100hz makes the images flow really smoothly when watching the football. Colour is so crisp! Best place to buy is from www.rgbdirect.co.uk as its the cheapest there and they do home delivery. Tv also looks really smart and is one of the thinner lcd tv's.

replaced a faulty 37" LG with this tv. Got a deal with currys in nov/dec 2008. £999 for the tv and bluray player, also bought the surround system. the picture quality is absolutely brilliant, the 100hz makes a real difference with standard def as well as hi def, upscales fantastically. go for the full monty to appreciate - add the bluray and surround, use optical cables for sound and good quality hdmi and you won't be dissappointed.

minus points: can be a bit fiddley to set up properly although it does work well with standard settings. hdmi 2 needs to be used for digital (optical) sound. switching between inputs is a little slow.

all in all a fantastic quality tv, buy the samsung surrounding components to take advantage of anynet+ and to get the remotes that all work each device.

would recommend to anyone who wants a top quality home cinema system and now the price has come sensibly down
