I bought this TV over the Sony I was also looking at because of the realistic images that this TV produces. The price of this Samsung TV was better and I felt the picture was slightly better on this set. We have watched lots of Blu Ray movies on this set, and we were blown away with the clarity and intense colours, especially the depth of blacks on this set. What a TV, I bought the Samsung LEB40651T after my original Toshiba 42inch TV became faulty and boy am I glad this happened. This TV is superb, the picture quality is excellent although you will have to do some tinkering in the settings to get it right (but that's with all TV's). The sound is good but I have it set up through surround sound and it's crisp. One of my top marks for this TV goes to how it easily distributes the sound to different devices and this is all thanks to the 4 HDMI... (read more)

Fantastic tv with amazing picture quality and sound. 100hz makes the images flow really smoothly when watching the football. Colour is so crisp! Best place to buy is from www.rgbdirect.co.uk as its the cheapest there and they do home delivery. Tv also looks really smart and is one of the thinner lcd tv's. (read more)

replaced a faulty 37" LG with this tv. Got a deal with currys in nov/dec 2008. £999 for the tv and bluray player, also bought the surround system. the picture quality is absolutely brilliant, the 100hz makes a real difference with standard def as well as hi def, upscales fantastically. go for the full monty to appreciate - add the bluray and surround, use optical cables for sound and good quality hdmi and you won't be dissappointed.
