    The royal course is an amalgamation of two the three 9 hole loops that were built as part of the original Vale de Lobo resort. The course winds its way through many of the orginal villas built years ago, and it feels well established and secluded. Each hole makes its own path through the resort, so don't expect to end up on another fairway if you hit a wayward shot - you wil be out of bounds. This course also includes one of the most photographed holes in Europe - the 16th plays across the bright red cliffs with the beach below. If there's a breeze blowing, you may have to aim your tee shot out to sea, and off the back tees it's a 190 yard carry.....
