    We wanted a fridge freezer that was hassle-free and reliable. So we went for frost-free and the Bosch name. A mistake. Other makes of fridge freezers we have had in the past have lasted for 6+ years - after all they are very basic machines. This one lasted less than 4. When we contacted Bosch they were unhelpful and unsympathetic - 'didn't you take out insurance' - and indicated that the symptoms suggested a new motor/compressor at £100+ and a call out fee of £85, oh and by the way VAT is extra! Save your money - Bosch are trading on their name; it's no longer backed up by sound engineering or customer care.
