Iberica is a spanish tapas bar with a difference. About a 5 minute walk from Regents street tube station this tapas bar is a spanish delicatessen by day with it's own cheese cellar and great selection of wines to buy. But by night it transforms into a lively bar/tapas restaurant. We sat at the bar as it was pretty busy on the Friday we visited. We had no reservation but they had a little room for us. The wine is a little pricey but they ask you to try first and then pour out the rest. We chose a small selection of tapas including potatoes with broken eggs and ham, white bait, asparagus and monkfish. All beautifully presented I would say that this was more British style tapas with a lovely spanish twist. I was tempted by the spanish cheese selection (you go into the cellar and pick it out yourselves) and some of the meats which sit in plain view, ready to be carved. Service was good and the atmosphere was good, a great place to start the night with a bit of food and good wine.
