I received my Demon X DYX140 last week and as soon as I opened the box I knew I had made the right choice. The quality of this pit bike took my breath away and I couldn't quite believe what I had just bought for 600 quid and change, I would even go as far as to say that the build quality puts some of the dirt bikes I've owned to shame. Even the small details like the fuel cap which is machined from billet alloy and anodised in a metallic grey colour just looks quality. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble the bike and check that all the nuts and bolts were tight, the bike fired up second kick and sounded really throaty, I couldn't wait to take it into the woods behind my house.
I took it easy at first to run the engine in but even at low revs I could feel the torque, good job this bike comes with deep tread knobblies or this thing would be spinning the back wheel every gear change. After a few hours I decided to give it a bit more stick and and it took everything I could give it, I've never ridden an off road bike with 14/12 inch wheels before but I was surprised how well it handled even on really rough ground, the suspension seems to be set perfectly for my weight (10.5 stone) Overall I am very impressed with the bike and I now understand why this is viewed as the best quality pit bike on the market.
