I sent my ring to be repaired by H. Samuel Signet Ltd and they have lost it - they said they would refund me £2000 for me to buy in their store only if could send them the original receipt, as some as they received it - guess what......I had a phone call saying that they cannot aorthorise it ....so they have lost my ring and are not going to replace it or the value, it has taken three months to get to this point....I reported it to Consumer Direct and they have sent me legal outlines as to what I can do and passed the case on to trading standards...All I can say is they do not know how to give customer service to their customers at all - no process or complaints dept and no escalation either....

I requested to speak to a manager but the woman said I carnt...dont try to do their job for them as they throw it in your face... good luck if you are going through their head office as I found them very patronising and imply that you lye over technicalities that are irelevant to the fact they have lost my ring, I have not got a ring and I have not got the only proof I had of the value - they have trpped me into sending this to them by promising one thing and doing another . Very Very angry and upset.

Its like the company are operating in the 1980s customer service levels!!!!!!!!
