As a large group on a weekend break to the Lakes, the Glasshouse offered a good place for an evening meal given the limited choice in Ambleside. The only thing to watch out for is the occasional 'slip' with food quality. I'd say after two visits (10 people), we had one person with a disappointing meal each time. Shame, because the other dishes were excellent. (read more)
