placed an order was told be here in 3 days 2 weeks later still not completed blaming supplier after 5 visits do not order unless its in stock and you can take away with you stick to b&q etc few pounds more but only one visit needed qvs big joke (read more)

My order arrived within 28 hours of placing it. The goods (conduit and clips) were seriously cheap compared to the big names. I even got an extra discount when I bought more than 5 pieces. Will use the wholesalers again in the future. (read more)

“Cancelled order after 14 days of waiting.”

Placed order 14 days ago on website, there wasn't any indication that the items were out of stock. I received an email the next day informing me that the items were out of stock and they would be ordering them from the supplier and they will be with me shortly. After a week I called to ask where my order was and the lady assured me they were on the way and will be with me by the end of the week. Another week later I phone again and they havent even recieved the items from their supplier.... (read more)

If any of my clients got a shoddy service like I've been given by QVS - I wouldn't be in business. Ordered on a Saturday, didn't have some items in stock so they promised to get them ordered and delivered in 2-3 days, fair enough. 3 days later I chase up to see how it's going and the order hadn't been placed with the supplier yet! 1st mistake. Cheaper than TLC, screw fix and B&Q. Website is easy enough to use. Shame that they can't guarantee next day delivery though. Standard delivery is said to be 2-3 days. Most of my orders come either next day or the day after. Generally happy with them. (read more)

“VERY slow dispatch time”

QVS do not tell you which items are ex stock and which are out of stock or have a hefty lead time, so you "throw the dice" when you order online and you want your goods in the advertised 2-3 day turn-around... Don't bother emailing them, as they have the same sense of urgency answering emails as they do dispatching your orders (maybe emails have a lead time too?)... i agree they don't tell you at time of ordering but i got an email the following day saying item out of stock.A quick phone call to the freephone number and 5 minutes later a call from the dispatch depot,advising me what was missing and when i was getting it.i have to say i was very impressed with their service and manner they dealt wih me and from the nature of your post i would say maybe your attitude didn't help your cause?not 100% perfect but i will use them again

The Web site is very good, but when I tried to order replacement bulbs at a discounted price I couldn't (order X amount at X discounted price, but only if one colour was ordered, I wanted different colours but the amount ordered would still have qualified for discount) When I queeried this I was told the system couldn't recognise this type of order. Good when you want to buy soemthing (give them some money) but god help you if you need a refund. QVS is impossible to deal with, repeatedly lied to me about refunding money, made excuses and so on. Do not use them, not reliable, stick with a reputable electrical retailer. (read more)

QVS Electrical Supplies is the company and a very good one.

I found what I was looking for on the website but the description didn't include the dimensions I needed. I phoned the help line and got the info straight away. The gentleman I spoke to also apologized and promised that the information would be updated on the website, which it was within 10 minutes.
