Like the other person on here who sent their Nokia N95 I sent them a Nokia N73 in August and suprise suprise I am still waiting for the cheque, they claimed to have sent 3 times. I am now also going through Trading Standards and thinking about reporting them to Watchdog as they seem to be 'stealing' lots of peoples property. I have used other providers but they seem to lure you in with slightly better prices, so do not be fooled, this organisation are not what they seem.

Do not use Sell Old Phones as it is a complete scam! I sent my Nokia N95 to them almost four weeks ago and although I received an E-Mail witihn 7 days stating my cheque was on its way I've received nothing! I used this Company because they offered the best deal and now I have nothing to show for a perfectly good phone! I'm going to report them to Trading Standards and see if they can help.
Please, please, please do not use this Company - you have been warned!!

I`ve recently recycled four old phones through different companies, the only problem being with selloldphone. The phone sent to them which worked perfectly and had never been near water became miraculously water damaged when checked by their trained engineers?? What`s better is that they then got to keep the `damaged` phone without having to pay for it!If it was an available option their customer service rating would get minus stars!! Try Love2recycle or Fonebank instead.

I have used them and got money for my phone from them. No problems and in the space of a week as well. Got the money I was quoted. I did make sure the phone was wrapped and sent properly. I even asked them a question by email and got into a conversation with the sites owner I believe and was quite happy. Mind you I've used others more bigger ones and waited longer!

Sell Old Phone had my phone for about 3 weeks and I tried to contact them by phone and email to ask where my money was but never got a reply or answer. In the end they then send me a cheque for £20 when I was promised £29! They say the gradings are on their website. Will never use selloldphone.co.uk ever again!

I recently had a nokia 6300 phone to trade in. I shopped through the various sites getting prices. selloldphone.co.uk quoted the highest price for the handset along with one other site. Four weeks after placing the order on-line I final received a cheque for £15 less that the quoted price. Only explanation was a 2 line letter saying the screen was chipped (I know it wasn't) and referring me to their grading system in their terms and conditions (which aren't even on the screen when you ...
