Good Points: Full range of resolutions, up to 2048x1536, Excellent price for what you get, Good quality flat screen.
Bad Points: Some people don't like the aperture grill lines, Probably not the most perfect image possible (but I can't tell).
General comments: I am not a video guru but, for the price of this Samsung 900 NF 19" monitor, you can hardly go wrong. It will support all standard resolutions up to 2048x1536. At it's highest resolution though it only refreshes at 68Hz. I run it at 1600 x 1200 @ 85Hz and I couldn't be happier. It also has the "highlight" feature whereby it increases the brightness over part or all of the screen for movies and such.
If you have a video calibration program (it comes with a mediocre one) it has an extensive array of adjustments. BTW I paid $359 US for mine but it is already cheaper.
