    We tried very hard to find a reputable builder but no one wanted the job who was Masterbonded to concert an extension into a kitchen, put in a toilet downstairs, plaster around the house, put in wooden doors and make a study. The company appeared good - talked the talk, even had a "project Manager". CC Refurbishment Studio Ltd started off good. They were fine at ripping out things and doing big structual work. The problems started when the smaller cosmetic jobs were performed - doors unlevel with floor and the frames, skirting that doesn't fit together properly, plasterers who didn't bother to put back any electrical fittings or the blinds which then got damaged and dirty being on the floor uncovered for so long. they even damaged our one year old starircase because they couldn't be bothered to protect it. They fitted windows without making any sills for the sashes. We are still waiting for the job to finish. It started on the 14 April 2009 and it is now September 15th 2009. there are always good reasons for the job not being finished such as illnesses, but they continue to work on other projects.
