I am an individual filmmaker and was looking for a screenwriter to expand an idea which was in my mind. I had this idea/story for years. But not being a screenwriter, I was never able to pen it down. However I always felt the idea can be transformed into a great movie. During my search for a screenwriter, I stumbled upon TheScreenplayWriters.com recently. Since I was tight on budget, I decided to try their services, seeing this, "Big studio? Huge budget? Small, first time filmmaker? Tiny budget? Looking for a screenplay writer to write a killer screenplay? Relax! We have talented film script writers for everyone."

I received a timely and decent work from them recently.

Here are my observations about their service:
PROS
1. They have a killer team. the screenwriters of their team are all renowned persons.

2. Even after having big names in their team, they also offer services for small filmmakers, and their fees start from just $3,000. This is a good opportunity for student filmmakers to hire a talented screenwriter.

3. They advertise as being the first screenwriter agency to have a team of Hollywood and Bollywood screenplay writers.

4. Their writers are thoroughly experienced. Some of them have worked with HBO, Turner, BBC and TriStar.

5. I was offered installment payment facility, which was good for me.

CONS
1. They could have mentioned the fees and range of fees more clearly in their website. You cannot make out how much it costs to get a screenplay written until you have mailed them. In fact seeing big names I had thought their service would be expensive. Only after I received their reply to my mail that I understood they write screenplays starting from $3,000.

2. Their rates are lower than WGA (Writers' Guild of America) rates; as such their are offering very affordable rates. I have a faint intuition that WGA will object and make them raise their rates in near future; considering their are getting noticed rapidly. If such a thing happens, their rates may become less affordable; but till then, they are one of the most affordable screenwriting services I have come across.
