Bernd Scherak Language and Travel Guide to Crotia - I read a NY Times article about Zagreb and realized how little I know about the region. If your geographical knowledge is like mine, i.e. a little rusty, Croatia is in between Slovenia and Bosnia across the Adriatic from Italy's eastern coast. While I haven't been to Croatia yet, this book has been so helpful! It explains basic Croatian grammar and phrases plus has great maps and city guides.
