I am hosting my websites in webhostingworld since 2009 , every year the services become worse,what keep me from moving to other hosting company is I have alot of websites hosted , and it will take alot of time and customer will not be have when there websites stop for few days , but now after I spend more than 15 hours every week fix and restore websites because of the bad services , I am start search for new company. I just have this service on the second year of contract, during the first year, there were several days where the server was down, but after that it was relative good (server down now and then) and cheap. In the second year, it has been terrible. The server is mostly down, and I have to be claiming all the time to make server up. broke my database, imagine what happened with wordpress. imagine that happened when you claim. Don't be fooled with nice and smile pictures. Don't trust on 30 days money back. Don't believe that PP is going to refund your money in case of claim. This is the worst hosting company I've ever worked with! I bought "UNLIMITED" Package and they deleted my files and asked me to upgrade to dedicated package! I purchased reseller package from this company and I have had the worst experience with them. All of my websites are usually down 2-3 times everyday and they do not fix the issue until I submit a ticket. They do not have any explanation of why the service is always down. no it is worse than SCAM, just not caring ppl.
i used their services for more than a year now.
what they offer is really great, reseller panel is quite cheap and i had 30 CPANEL with unlimited hosting
the problem is that to many times server is going down
and after that they go hacked and all my webs started having banks SCAM pages in it.
and at the end their own website got hacked and it is one week it is down
there is a chance they haven't released yet because no one opened a ticket because you cant
hahaha :P

My own domain is hosted at webhostingworld.net . I suggested my friend who registered his website www.crsluk.co.uk on 13/March/2012 and as of today 13/May/2012 the website has not been active. They say the website domain is still to propogate and that he should wait 4-5 hours. After a couple of times the chat operator asks to open ticket which he did but nothing happened??? I had seen these prices were the best in the current market, without hesitation, I purchased the small package, and decided to pay every 6 months. This brought the cost up to $12. A pretty cheap price. I bought the package and my domain wasn't activated after weeks. I contacted the live support and asked for a refund. They have a 30 day refund policy. Despite over a month ago having requested my account be cancelled, one day after opening my account due to issues with the service. This request still has not been fulfilled. As a member of a site that was being hosted through webhostingworld.net, I have experienced a few problems, failure to upload, hyperlink breakage while the host site servers have been down.
Just recently we were notified that the server our site was being stored on was experiencing catastrophic failures, we were assured that there was a back up of the data and that all would be well.
However as of today, the site has been a victim of a severe glitch resulting in a total loss of all data....

Webhosting world is fine as long as nothing goes wrong. If you have an issue they do not respond to the tickets, or answer they can find nothing wrong. Their webchat people to my mind are not people at all but ronbots with a programmed list of repsonses. They cannot answer questions with anything other than pre written phrases and 'hang up' when they run out of these. Actually the term 'chat' with these borg like entities is laughable.

Was a little apprehensive at first as I thought it seemed too good to be true but have now got two sites hosted on WHW and on the whole have been very happy. WebHostingWorld hosting is really horrible for professional concerns. It's not good at all for business owners or resellers. Their server are always flooded with huge number of websites hosted on a single server (ip). Their 24x7 technical support sleeps during night. And the persons on live chat can refer to those Support and Sales team only. They can't give simple information. Horrible hosting experience. Everything is very good, except their downtime. My website has gone down every day since the day I first used this, its usually a 1-6 minute downtime, but this down time adds up, uptime is actually 99.4% or lower daily.
When I told support that my website keeps going down, they deny it, and pretend their servers have never gone down.

Great when it works. Really lousy support. They have an online chat support line and they do answer promptly and fixes the problem you encounter. But they do not give you any reasons when your site is automatically suspended nor do they email notify you of it.
Sometimes, they do not even know what happened. Other times, they simply give you a stupid reason. Such downtime can happen a few times a day, consecutively over a week. And you get 'caned' answers but no longterm...

I didn't know what to expect when I bought my hosting account (with my free domain!) until less then 2 hours later when my domain was already up.
I guess I am use to NameServer changes taking forever, at least with my last domain that was. Webhostingworld is a very easy host to use and their

I've been using Webhostingworld.net for years now and they have been top notch. I've checked out other companies since I signed up just to see what they offer and nobody really compares to what I can get with Webhostingworld. Really top notch. I've only had about an hour of downtime once and that was because I was transferring a domain over to them. Other than that, I've never had a problem.

WHW state on their website that they are established since 2001 and host 350,000 websites when infact these guys are in business for less than a year (just their domain was registered in 2001) and have only a few servers.

I'm using a Webhostingworld.net account since 2008. There has never been a problem, and no problem worth mention took longer than an hour to get a response. I've tried other hosting companies, and still keep some, but found that Webhostingworld.net is the best. (read more)

Same here, actually what's worse when i open tickets i even write "please don't reply with - servers are ok and it result all ok to us - and i even send print screens from proxies saying "SERVER IS DOWN" - and you know what they write back.
