    I made a reservation for La Roque sur Ceze, Capming les Cascades for ten nights but left after three. The website is very professional and the reality was very disappointing. The pitches although large are unshaded but it was the blocked toilets, dirty pool and the lack of facilities that proved too much. The restaurant was not there (closed down) and although they advertised they sold chips and ice this was only on certain days. The beach on the webite turned out to be a public beach and I have never seen a river bank so crowded in my life. The locals would climb the rocks and throw themselves into the river to the shouts of the crowds. Other campers seemed to be Dutch or French and the man at the next pitch had booked a mobile home. He indicated he would leave too if he hadn't paid in advance. Please avoid it and at 35 Euros pn it isn't cheap either.
