I like to go to etsy just to find some inspiration for myself. It is always fun to look at all the different creations and the amazing things that people come up with. Sometimes this site reminds me of what we are capable of! There are so many things to look at that times passes by so fast while you're in awe for what you can buy there and order here...I can find some true craftsmanship here and the artist never fail to astonish me with their creations. I just started selling vintage jewelry on Etsy and after only a week have made multiple sales. I can sell unique older jewelry at better prices because the fees are lower than eBay's. I keep buying and selling. I love it.

I have used Etsy on a few occasions now, each time for a different 'craft'. Much like eBay, the service you receive is largely dependent on the individual sellers, but my experience so far has been very good.
The range of handmade goods on there is phenomenal, and the site is mostly easy to use. A good alternative to buying everything from Amazon ;)

I found it easy to use, and set up for selling was self explanatory.
I seem to get more traffic and sales for my handcrafted business card holders at Etsy than from other like venues. A nice feature is the Alchemy section.
If things get slow you can always put in bids for things other users want made.

I love Etsy. It's a wonderful place to browse and buy handmade goods from small cottage industries all over the world. The website is lovely, very clean and easy to navigate, you can search using their gift guides or by the type of item you want whether it's paper, ceramic, handmade jewellery, knitted goods and loads more.

Easy handcrafted items is a great place to support small business owners. There are plently of talented artists and I would recommend this Online Auction website to anyone. Infact the only bad point in my opinion is that you need to be sure the seller hs kept their site active! (read more)
