I bought my iMac 2 years ago as both a business machine with which to run my blogs and for personal use too. It's my second Mac and I love it even more than the first.
Pros
The 20inch screen is fantastic quality and the extra size is great for working, playing and watching iPlayer. The built in webcam is great for taking quick photos and video calls with my mates.
Depite now being 2 years old my iMac is still very fast, very reliable and looks great. Apple's software is still a dream to use. The inclusion of iPhoto and iMovie makes such a difference.
It's far cheaper than a Macbook Pro with similar performance and a bigger screen so if you don't really need portability this is a much better value option.
Cons
There really isn't much to fault so far. I guess it was pretty expensive compared to a PC, but the performance justifies this. It would be nice if the speakers were a little louder and there were more USB ports.
Overall
I'd recommend getting an iMac to anyone!
