DO NOT USE JUMBO TRANSFERS/TOURS WITHIN THE JUMBO GROUP. we booked our holiday via on the beach and paid for transfers to and from hotel. We are a family of 4 which includes a 3 month old baby. Our pick up time from the hotel was 5.15am, at 5.45am we asked the hotel receptionist to contact jumbo tours which they did. Jumbo tours appeared rude and unhelpful and said they would not be collecting us and would not arrange a taxi for us. They stated they didn't have a coach in the area and we could get a taxi at our cost, which they said they would refund with a receipt. So we booked and paid for a taxi at a cost of over €68. Now the fun starts, jumbo tours WILL NOT REPLY TO ANY EMAILS and telephoning is hopeless. On the beach DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS as per their terms but said they had contacted jumbo tours but had no reply. Why do on the beach continue to use this company? It is quite simple they take your money knowing that they do not have to make REFUNDS, it's that simple. USE JUMBO TOURS/TRANSFERS AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO YOU WANT TO TAKE THAT RISK? Check other reviews on Jumbo Transfers and you will see what a dreadful company they are and the risk you take by using them!!

Do not book a transfer with this company it will cost you double as they take payment out of your account twice, sent 100 e-mails but they will not answer even from the head office, bunch of shammers out to take your money.

What a joke! Firstly on arrival in Malaga we had to search for our name on a plain sheet of paper in a crowd of 100s of people. Then left standing outside airport for an hour! Our return transfer was at 8.45 we stood outside our hotel from 8.20 so plenty early enough.... THE COACH NEVER ARRIVED! We ended in paying for a taxi to the airport at 9.20! I have sent numerous emails none of which have been answered and finding a telephone number is impossible! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Had booked with Jumbo Taxis through OnTheBeach and they had confirmed that they would pick me up at the airport. However they were not there; I waited 45 minutes and searched the entire airport. The procedure to get a refund is to ring the office and notify them that the taxi has not arrived. This was not possible as the office was open 09:00-17:00 or something similar and my flight landed at 22:00. OnTheBeach told me I could get a refund if I got another taxi and kept the receipt. I followed this procedure and was told I would get my money back once OnTheBeach had received a reply from Jumbo Taxis. I waited 56 days and OnTheBeach told me at this time they had still not received a reply from Jumbo Taxis. OnTheBeach refunded me themselves. There is no contact info for Jumbo Taxis to be found. I emailed a complaint to Jumbo Tours but they said they could not help and would not forward my email to Jumbo Taxis. I was not impressed with this service and would not use them again.

Waited 50 mins in bus at airport before journey 0f 2 1/2 hours to resort. Was not collected on return. Hotel phoned on my behalf and I spoke to operator who stated that they had made error and no bus available. Told me to get taxi and get receipt and they would repay costs.Now having problems getting back the 110Euro . A very shabby company and please dont trust them.

Don't use this company total joke we booked thru on the beach and transfer to airport didn't turn up we had to pay 40 euros on a taxi so we could make out flight home company is a total rip off do not use

This company produced pick up details on Saturday afternoon. We were informed by them our pick up would be 7.10am Sunday. As our flight was for 11.30am this baffled me, for it meant an early last night for four adults. No breakfasts, and messing about in either the coach. Or the airport for almost four and a half hours. I mean between us we had spent over two thousand pounds for all inclusive, seven nights, and they wanted us to miss out further. Instead We had a great late night, got breakfasts, then got a taxi 41 euroes at 9.15am and still had to wait to check in our luggage....so jumbo tours, and shuttle bus, no more..clients should know when booking when pick up time is, or on initial pick up coming from airport.

Booked with Jumbo Tours through On the Beach and it was a big mistake. arrived in Palma and located the bus only to wait on it an hour whilst other passengers from other flights got on. The transfer then took 2 hrs and 15 minutes to get to the resort of Cals de mallorca when we had quotes approximately 1 hr and 35 minutes. It was the same on the return journey and people need to be aware of this. Everyone on the coach was moaning and I feel totally dissatisfied with this service.

don't book with these charletons. they will take your money and not provide the service. I booked transfers through ON THE BEACH along with the rest of my holiday and they did not turn up to take me back to the airport. the kind nightwatchman tried to ring all emergency numbers given on the booking confirmation to no avail, only one answered and gave us the office number we already had which did not open until 9am this was at 07.40 my pick up was confirmed the day before via fax at the apartments and was to be there at 07.30 we were waiting outside from 06.50 to ensure it was not early and we would miss it,which we have proof as the day receptionist came by on his pushbike around 7am and chatted and said goodbye and when he arrived for work he was shocked to see us still waiting. my friend who came on holiday with us had a later transfer as she flew from Manchester and us from blackpool was given a message telling us to send the taxi receipt and they would refund us this was the 8th October I am still awaiting my 80 euros refund for a taxi we had to get to the airport as we were stranded over an hour away from palma. no reply to emails ON THE BEACH less than useless in resolving this matter, the one reply from jumbo was to tell me they will only deal with me through ON THE BEACH then after numerous emails ON THE BEACH tried to fob me off with IT IS NOT A PACKAGE HOLIDAY I BOOKED SO THEREFORE I HAVE TO DEAL WITH JUMBO DIRECTLY, after having a scanned copy of my taxi receipt for 5 weeks I think not!!!!!!! be warned use different transfer companies ON THE BEACH are still using these rip off's

Taken to hotel from airport fine. Day before pickup due, rang and there was no body there. Next day (of dearture) tried ringing all day and again, no body there. Hotel finally got through to them on emergency number and they said my flight had been moved from 22.30 to 18.10 so the transfers were at 3pm. Transfers at 3pm did not arrive. Checked my emails and looked online and contacted airport and the flight was scheduled on time for 10pm. Waited until 8pm and no transfers arrived so had to pay 40 euro for a taxi. SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS. TERRIBLE COMPANY. The hotel would not put this in writing so I gather its now going to be difficult to claim money back. Rest assured peope, one way or another i will ensure the company loses money, even if I have to go down there and smash the place up!

they never confirmed pick up time or faxed hotel of comfirmation time of pick up we had to get a taxi from calla millor to palma costing 88 euros which we coulndt pay so the taxi driver kept our luggage we flew home without our luggage very ill mannered person on the desk at palma airport did not want to help us i strongly recommened not using this company has they not very helpfull mrs ward cornwall

On booking jumbo tours through ONTHEBEACH.COM i was informed that my transfer from Palma airport was 45minutes this turned out to be 2 and a half hours.I then recieved a letter from jumbo tours stating that my transfer was not gaurented back to the airport on 29/09/10 due to spanish strike and that i would have to travel a day early or later as there would be no public transport or taxis from calas de majorca.went back to airport a day early and was assured by jumbo this information was correct. 18hrs later buses and taxis were arriving as normal.WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.there was six of us traveling at a transfer price of £120,it is 65 euros by taxi.A JOKE AVOID

OUR TRANSFER WAS WITH JUMBO TOURS WHEN I ARRIVED AT PALMA AND WENT TO THERE DESK THEY GAVE ME SOME PAPERS AND TOLD ME TO GO TO TRANSUNION OFFICE OUR TRANSFER TO CALAS DE MALLORCA TOOK 1HR 20 MIN NOT TOO BAD, RETURN TRANSFER TO PALMA TOOK 3 HOURS NIGHTMARE HAD TO RUN TO DEPARTURE GATE HOW DO THEY GET OFF WITH IT AND WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES IN THE SAME SITUATION NEVER AGAIN

on the way out our transfer worked well the driver was there to meet us and got us to the to the hotel without a problem however on the return journey the taxi didnt turn up at all so had to pay extra for another taxi, it was impossible to get through to their office and when I eventually did they had to record of my booking despite my having a confirmation. I wont be using Jumbo Tours again

Getting from the airport to the hotel took 2 and 1/2 hours but we got there so it was fine. However on the way back, the transfer never got us to the airport on time so we ended up spending an extra £482. we have attempted to try to get in touch to be compensated however to no avail. I definately would not recommend this company. It made a bad end to our holiday.

Do not use Jumbo tours in mallorca if you expect to be taken to your hotel as per booking and then be picked up to go back to the airport. Absolutely shocking and ended up having to get taxi both ways

I HAD THE SAME TROUBLE TO DAY. 8TH october. I checked the pick up time to take me to the Airpot and was ready but no coach came. However a mini bus arrived but the driver would not let me on as I was not on his list. He returned 15 minutes later and still would not take me, even though I was the only person waiting. Afer trying to contact the office to no avail as there is no one available until 10am and my flight departed at 10.15 I had to pay 28euros for a Taxi.
