    Good Points: Intense. Real. Gets you into the story and facts and techniques of climbing. Good story.


    Bad Points: Slow start.


    General comments: Jon Krakauer, Into Thin Air: Personal Account of the Everest Disaster - Comprehensive, firsthand story of Everest climber and journalist on an expedition which turned bad. Really gets you into the whole atmosphere of high professional mountaneering, which from the author's view has become not so professional.
