This old book takes the new to the sport through the many skills required to achieve success and safety in the shot gun; dispite its age The Art of Shooting by Charles Lancaster contains most of the hints and tips garnered from generations of skilled shooters, added to which it is presented in an old yet charming way with tips on shooting etiquette. There are many sketch drawings on stance and allowance when sighting up for the shot. This book has gone through many editions and the older ones are quite collectable amongst the shooting fraternity. A first edition may achieve hundreds while a 1940's varies between £10/40 depending on condition.
