I ordered a dress in a regular size, not sending my exact measurements. When the dress arrived it looked like a 10 year old sewed it, the bust was located on my collarbone, the sleeves were supposed to be 3/4 length and flowing, they were above my elbows and tight! When I contacted the company they wanted me to send them naked pictures of myself so they could figure out what they did wrong! This company sent my jacket to go with my wedding dress to the WRONG COUNTRY and then they want me to pay again to have another jacket sent. There is not enough time to get another jacket made. I enquired weeks ago and they just put me off. Now it is too late. They keep making excuses and refusing to do anything. Very poor customer service. Buyer's beware - the dresses at this website are all knock offs, and they don't even do a great job of knocking it off! Never order from that company! First: the pictures on there webpage are not the pictures of the dresses that are actually made by them. All of those are pictures of the work of famouse designes. Second: you will not get what you see in the picture because fabrics and laces that they are using are very poor quality. Third: quality of work was horrible. I ordered a dress from dressilyme.com for prom. i read some of the reviews stating "they sent me the wrong dress" but i was in denial thinking this would never happen to me. Ordered a mermaid style dress. Picture showed a beautiful red taffeta with beautiful lace and embrodery. The dress came and I am not even sure that you could call it taffeta looks like a cotton blend to me very cheap and not shiney at all. The lace looked like your grandmothers tablecloth. My dress looks identical to the one on the dressilyme website. I was nervous not being able to see a zoomed picture of the dress. So I searched to find the original dress design. Mine was a Maggie Sottero's Grace Kelly. I then called bridal shops trying to find the orignal in stock so that I could see it in person. Once seeing it I fell in love and it only encouraged me to want to order from dressilyme even more. Yes is is a knock off, they do not have the rights to the original design. But from all the reviews I've read the differnce is so slight that you would have a very hard time finding the diffence. I believe that the differce in mine is in the lace. The quality and detail is so amazing. I love the dress that dressilyme created. At this point I don't even remember the original, I love my dress. Had I not searched out and seen the original I would have never known what the slight difference was in the two dresses. Yes I would recommend ordering a Custom Fit Wedding Dress from dressilyme. Well, consider yourself lucky. I happened to be their victim.
I just received my dress from Dressilyme and mine was a custom dress as well. It looked NOTHING like the pictures. My design was supposed to have flowers with beading on the waistband, but it came out with LEAVES and the waistband was so obviously croaked. Not only that, the lace on my dress was ripped. The dress had so many obvious defects that when I tried to reason with the rep, she kept on saying it's beautiful and I should keep it and those were easy fix. I was so sad and upset. I took it out to a local seamstress to get a quote to fix the dress, she quoted me $385!! That's even more than the dress itself!! So, now I don't know what to do. Dressilyme won't take it back to fix it and there's no way I'll be spending that much to fix this piece of crap. Soooo frustrated!
Brides..don't take your chance..stay away from Dressilyme as far as you can!!

I ordered a Maid of Honor dress through Dressily Me and it looks terrible. I paid $160 for a dress that looks like it was made by a high school student. The design was very straightforward and they still managed to do a terrible job. The dress was 'supposed' to be custom made but I believe they took a dress they already had and tried to fit it to my Maid of Honor's measurements. You get what you pay for -- that was worth about $20 and I paid way too much for a very poor gown. BUYER BEWARE. (read more)

I wish I could attach the dress that I received it truly looked like a HS student sewing class project. The site is made to look like an american establishment, but, once you order you see the seamtress is somewhere in China and so is the customer service people. They wanted me to pay for shipping both ways because of the poor job they did, which would have been an additional $100 for a dress that was not worth $30. Don't ever think of buying anything from dressilyme.com I ordered a prom dress for my daughter, did all the measurements and when it arrived, I wouldn't even wear it as a halloween costume. It is made cheap, cheap fabric, alltogether it looked and felt cheap. It should have cost $5.00 not more. I had to buy 2 dresses for my 2 weddings. Both are custom orders and I am 150% happy with them.
Positives:
1. They took my custom order and gave me a reasonable quote of $230 to make my dress.
2. They worked within my horrificly tight time frame of 30days!!! My dress was completed with pictures to confirm by day 22.
