    This White Rock Hurricane Jacket compares extremely well with my previous Gore-Tex jackets in as far as it is just as water/wind proof and the garment's 'breathing' qualities are just as good. You just stay very dry both inside and outside. The outer material has a 'hydrostatic head' of 8,000mm this means it has the ability to withstand the water pressure exerted by an 8 metre high drain pipe full of water for a 24 hour period! It also has 'pit zips' under the arms so that you can vent it. It has a zip on hood and 6 good pockets all zipped. For the price of around £50 it is brilliant value. These jackets are very well made and robust. If you want a great rain/snow jacket for a very reasonable price, then you cannot go wrong with this jacket.
