Libranet Linux is the perfect distribution from the newcomer to linux, or to someone who wants Debian's stability, security and package management system. I have tried a pile of RPM based distributions. I hated installing software because you'd try to install an ".rpm" and it had failed dependencies, so I'd download the dependencies, and they had failed dependencies. The Libranet GNU/Linux 2.0 operating system includes many wonderful packages and an easy way to install and use them. Most of all, however, the complete compatibility with Debian Linux allows you to have access to over 4,000 free programs over the internet. Xadminmenu makes sense of it all for you, running scripts that make the job of "get"ting from ftp a cinch. Libranet is terrific. It is a great OS for anybody (read more)
