Well i have been trying loads of pellets recently looking for something to match the quality of air arms diablo. Came across these the other day in my usual hunting shop, not cheap at £11.65 for only 400! Slightly heavier than your average .177 pellet with a design that looks exactly the same as a JSB Exact Heavy. These pellets though are not made from lead and claim to be the most effective and most humane hunting pellet in the world and also to outperform other pellets by 15% in all areas!

Initially accuracy is as expected from a .177, spot on but with a less reliable grouping than a standard diablo pellet. Hold over/under much the same as other .177 pellets.

First live test woodies, no use for my usual aiming points and after shooting 3 i will never use these pellets again for this quarry, just does not bring them down with enough reliability for me.

Second live test feral pigeons, Work a treat for my usual aiming points, crop shots and straight on breast shots these pellets power through bone and flesh providing quick kills, make a nice enough wound channel and thus far have yet to have a problem with them for these smaller pest pigeons.

Third and final live test i managed rabbits. I'm a head shot person, either in the head or not at all, these though fell a bit short and took a pair of rabbits in the chest with amazing results. For a .177 to drop a rabbit so easily with a chest shot is good. Fast effective and reliable on rabbits then!

In all i don't believe the hype about the pellet and the claims are a bit much too, all i know is that for my type of quarry and my choice of kill zones these are excellent on rabbits and feral pigeons, i should expect they will yield great results on crows with full on chest shots too! they have made me rethink some aim points and i will continue to take tricky rabbits in the chest as long as they continue to prove reliable enough.

Can only really recommend if you don't mind paying a bit for a 100 less pellets than usual. They are nice for a change are brilliantly manufactured and really are effective. Maybe a little hard so don't deform a huge amount on impact, they cut through flesh and bone with ease putting the truth to their name. Definitely worth a try if like me you are constantly looking for the best pellet!
