I chose Pocketfold Invites because the designs from their gallery looked good and the costs seems drastically cheaper than using a local supplier. I decided to write this review to warn others that they may end up wasting a lot of time explaining to the "experts" basic information. My emails to Pocketfold couldnt have been clearer yet I had to confirm and reconfirm basic instructions over a number of weeks. “Sizing WAY off”

The pocketfolds I wanted called 'debut' was advertised as 5 inches times 7 inches but was actually 5.5 times 7.5 This was NOT doable as I was printing my own invites. Then they email me saying something ridiculous like the sizing is in mm too 1. Inches and mm still needs to be calculated the same. 2. The mm was still WAY off what it said on the site and funnily completely incorrect in inches too. So they obviously can not count. They are rude and horrible and not a 'company' to deal with. thought this company looked great, exactly what we wanted...STOP!! DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER THAN LOOKING! they never answer the phone, they finish at 4pm although the stores guy says they finish at 5pm, you have to chase them not the other way round. [name removed] is the manager but he doesnt call you, too busy with his family. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. never received a sample that they promised. would not recommend in the slightest! (read more)

After being made promises of a quick turnaround we choose to use this company, it seemed relatively straight forward, we would provide details, they would print and cut and we would mount invites. We should have noted the warning signs, on a few occasions samples they had said they would send never arrived. I ordered three pocket fold kits in ice gold wave and satin royal blue ribbon for 75 invites, when they arrived I was delighted because the delivery was very quick. The stock was well packaged and padded for protection. Everything was there as promised and I was not in the least bit disappointed. We have been using pocket fold invites for a number of years now and to say the service has been 2nd to none in over 60 orders we have had only one where we had to chase (and that was because our bride was in a hurry not because they were late) All our items are checked and double checked before posting to us so we never have any mistakes. I made quite a few phones calls before finally purchasing my invitations and every time the staff were extremely patient and helpful, always offering advice. When my invitations arrived they were easy to put together and look amazing at a fraction of the price I have found anywhere else. We exchanged several e-mails about my order to make sure they were exactly what I wanted and there was always a quick response. I'm now into week 3 of trying to agree a proof with pocketfold invites - sometimes with 3 attempts of pdf files being reviewed in a single day, which I have found frustrating. The latest moment of disbelief was the arrival of the envelope we requested - amazingly, the envelope is too small for the invite! The actual invites and inserts are very good quality, and they were delivered within just a couple of days.
However, I had enqured twice about the having the inserts printed without success, and I have now ended up having to print them myself on similar coloured paper as the inserts were far to thick to go through a home printer.
I would also recommend using the gift boxes rather than the envelopes as the invites are quite thick once you have the inserts and any decorations on the front.

It's a great concept to make your own stationery but one word of advice - leave PLENTY of time!
I'm sure we've just been really unlucky, but it took over a week for the order to be processed and delivered and when it was delivered, it was somebody else's order.
So I emailed and it took a further couple of working days (and a phone call from me) to get a response. They told me our order would be redelivered the next day and could we please re-package the order they had sent us incorrectly...

I spoke to www.pocketfoldinvites.co.uk and they were so helpful.
If you want this type of invitation i reccommend them.
I managed to do 60 pocketfold invites day and night for under £1 each.
A must for those on a budget like us!

I am sorry that you feel that you have received such a poor customer service Laura. It was very difficult to provide you with an accurate quotation until we were provided with the exact quantity and design that you required. Once a price was agreed you notified us that you hadn't booked a venue for your reception, again this made it a little difficult to provide you with PDF proofs. Once PDF were approved we waited a further 5 days for payment. However, once you did pay we moved heaven and earth to provide you with a 48hr turnaround. Please other potential customers note that this feedback was written prior to receiving the full order and once it was received Laura's boyfriend returned to us for additional items. Maybe we're not so bad after all!
