“Ok until you want to leave - total rip off”

I have had two business lines with One Bill for many years with no reason to complain. However when the business was sold and the new owners put a different supplier in place One Bill pestered me with emails, texts and phone calls trying to keep the business. “Service OK until contract runs out and you wish to...”

I would urge anybody NOT to sign up with OneBill Telecom as I am going through hell with them!! I had a 2 year telephone contract with them and decided when it was up I wanted to switch providers - I gave them plenty of notice as in their terms and conditions AND I kept to my full contract length. “Rubbish Company BEWARE!!!”

Signed up for 2 years Phone and Broadband. Broadband works for less than a min and cuts off. Tried endless times to phone them only to be on hold for 30min or more, or a message stating they are aware of a platform problem. When I finally get through to them they want me to do tests while I'm on a 0844 number instead of sending a repair person out. I pay for a Phone and working Broadband not one that does'nt work. I acquired a new business in the 1st September and agreed a contract with BT. I had not heard of Onebill Telecom, but now know quite a lot about their business methods. “Can't leave and keep your number.”

Having worked from home for over 30 years I transferred my business/home line to Onebill over 10 years ago. The service was ok-ish but the bills were always more than I expected from what they said I would pay. When it came to retirement and I wanted to transfer the line and number to my own name on my Sky package Onebill became the most difficult and obstructive company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Further to my review above, I have spoken to Onebill yet again and they have said that they will enable me to keep my number and they will not try to block Sky from taking it.

After six weeks of problems I am not holding my breath on this one but I will keep you posted and report what happens next here. Fingers crossed.

We run a small business from home and were with Onebill for quite a few years. They did price match a quote i got from elsewhere once but like many of us i didn't have time to keep checking. Eventually I did and foend a better deal for a third of the price! Informed Onebill we would not be renewing at the end of our contract and signed up elsewhere. “Criminals!”

We have taken over a contract with them 2 year ago and had nothin but trouble. They don't confirm anything in writing - even when they are puished. They are incompetent, unfriendly and quite simply ciminal! We have tranfered our contract 2 daus early and the wante £299.00 termination fee. Wehave now changed the termination day eaxty to the day when the contract ends and they still charge another termination fee. I decided to switch users from Onebill and so began endless e mails and telephones calls with recorded messages telling me I could be liable for a charge of £299 for leaving them.
