onebilltelecom has to be investigated by watch dog ,they agree to carry work out ,and dont lie and lie on the phone they say engineer is coming out and is a lie. i have come to a stage that one bill has to be reported .and i have recorded calls to show how much all the staff are trained to lie. please be aware this is not a genuine company. thanks… Read Full Review

“Do not use this company”

I decided to switch users from Onebill and so began endless e mails and telephones calls with recorded messages telling me I could be liable for a charge of £299 for leaving them. I wrote giving the required six weeks notice and spoke to them on the phone. The bombardment continued; at latest count we have received more than 30 telephone calls and many e mails. “A Perfidious company avoid”

I have finally just finished my three year contract with Onebill and had nothing but problems right from the very start. When I joined they promised me cheaper bills, all my bills were more expensive than they said they would be, they don't tell you about the hidden costs. “Rip off when want to leave! £300 for a verbal contract ”

We have been with them 6 years, got a better deal and they now have issued a £300 leaving fee with less than 2 months left on a verbal contract that my father has no recollection of said telephone call. “A communications company that doesn't communicate”

Agreed contracts and prices. Three months in, prices increase. Complain & end up with refund but an allegedly extended contract. Prices increase. Attempt to establish agreed contract end date. “Hold music the best part.”

So whilst at work trying to obtain the wireless password (not included on box, or changed for whatever incredible reason they could come up with)I decided to use their 'qwerky' text messaging service which ofcourse had no chance of working so ventured to speak to one of these human beings on the other line. Here comes a painful half an hour wait. “Worst Conmen In Telecoms (Yes that bad)”

Not only is the line the worst quality and most glitchy line I have ever had the displeasure of using, they are also absolute conmen. Tried to leave them and they claimed a previous manager of our depot had only just signed up for a new two year contract. Have now spent 4 months chasing them for proof which is not forthcoming. Onebill Telecom are probably the worst company i have ever had to deal with lost count of the number of hours and number of people i've spoken to on top of the engineer no shows, They seem to be not interested in the fact that i have not had any broadband for 10 weeks but happily take £45 + VAT per month for the privilege. “Rip-Off”

Got charged £7.11 each for 5 calls to 118118 when our computer was out of action, we did not agree to be put through, this was just getting a number. Each call lasted less than a minute. This is the biggest rip-off ever. When I spoke to customer services, they just said that's what it costs and that's it. There is no mention on their website what such calls will cost. Got a call from the sales agent, seemed good explained it all in thorough detail and when the router and phone line got activated [very late] the broadband speed was appalling. Youtube videos take forever to load about ten minutes for a five second playback until it buffers. Not to mention it always disconnects my son from his online gaming. Couldn't agree more no broadband for a over a week: How are we to run our credit card machine in the shop and run our on-line shops?
No one rings back or your left on hold and get cut off.
Told that if you have a problem they need 28 days to resolve, this is supposed to be a business provider, how can we run our business with that sort of service.
We have now cancelled the contract and are being threatened with cancellation fees for a service that they failed to set up in the first place.

“Try leaving them”

Another company who make good promises, claimed they could save us money on our then provider. Although we have been with them for almost three years with questionable savings. We have now been offered a package by BT which looks better, so we agreed to a transfer. We have now received a termination charge of equivalent to ten months of call charges.
