    Choice of line is down to personal preference however Spiderwire Stealth Ultracast is one of the smoothest braids I have ever used. It casts effortlessly with both direction and distance being achieved with very little effort. It does not rasp through the rod rings and off the spool as I have found with some other braided lines. As a result I have never encountered any of the wear on these items unlike other fishermen who use other braids. The only downside is its lightnes which can cause a loop on the tip ring if you let your line go slack. In all fairness this is not the fault of the line but of the anglers technique which allows this to happen. All in all you would be hard pushed to find a better braid at its price
