At two calories per teaspoon and suitable for baking, Splenda is by far, in my opinion, the best low calorie sweetner on the market. It tastes great in tea and coffee, and I have used it to bake muffins, which were delicious! It is suitable for diabetics and is wonderful for people (like me)who are tryng to watch their weight. The only drawback is that it is very expensive, at about 3.69 pounds for 125g box. You can find it on special offer once in a while. For anyone trying to lower sugar intake, do try it - it's worth every penny!
