    This Laser Distance Finder golf accessory from Longridge is at the bottom end of the powered laser range finders on the market but still provides a useful aid to golfers of all levels. The item is an optical range finder so it won't see around corners like a GPS but it will give an accurate range so you can select your club.

    As with all optical ranging devices it can be difficult to keep steady on a flag stick so it can sometimes be better to aim at other golfers on the green to give a better reading. The makers claim a plus or minus of around 1 yard and I have to agree to that claim as it has helped with my shots from 120 yds and in to the green. This is where the difference between a 95 yard shot and an 85 yard shot can be crucial in getting close to the pin.

    Change the supplied battery ASAP and I now remove the battery if it is not going to be used for a few days. Don't expect to be able to get spot on ranges from 250-300 yards, use it close in for best effect. Amazon gave the best price by far!!!
